This show is so good, even the fake poop is super realistic.
I wondered what killed Hesh’s girl. At first I thought they were implying stuff with Tony showing up right after with a huge pile of cash, but maybe I’m reading into it too much. The Sopranos does revel in ambiguity sometimes.
I don’t think there was any foul play there. Probably heart attack or something. Or maybe she had a fatal allergic reaction to really old jewish cock.
I dont know, I’m leaning more towards foul play. I mean sure it could just be a random death and we’re not meant to dwell on it, but if you look at the episode again, Hesh is convinced he’s going to get killed by Tony throughout, and the scene when Tony and Bobby show up and Hesh’s girl runs upstairs, seems like foreshadowing of doom. We probably shouldnt dwell on it though, this is Sopranos.
Fights and arguments in the Soprano household always make me wince, they’re so well written.
EDIT: I just bought Skullcandy HESH headphones recently. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

I think the scene in the driveway with the “we got a word for that” exchange was meant to show that Tony is not blind to the implications of ratting out even unconnected people. Omerta is not supposed to be reserved for people you like. But it’s still a believable stepping stone for him to sell out a little of is principles but not the entire Family. Of course, once you let the Feds in the door, it’s awfully hard to push them back out, kind of like another organization we know of.

Well, that was unexpected.
So Chris probably left some evidence behind in his state. Would he flip? Would Tony kill him? Hell, would Chris kill himself if he was faced with a long prison stretch vs. selling out Tony?
There probably doesn’t need to be physical evidence. Dolan’s girlfriend could give the police enough info about the last time Chris came to the apartment that would link him to the murder. Either way he’s fucked.
I thought Dolen said his girlfriend was out.

Very true. Maybe Chris should have taken a few things around there (like a couple awards) and maybe that would have looked like a robbery.
Admittedly, he was piss drunk and not thinking clearly so it probably didn’t occur to him
Although he still made a helluva head shot. Dead center on that one.
It’s probably not the cops that Chris will have to worry about most. Once Tony catches wind of this, especially with his current view of Chris being what it is, I don’t see how he can let it slide as just another one of Chris’ impulsive outbursts.

She overheard Christopher yelling at Dolen over a movie project. Now if she would have overheard the sort of conversation they were having this time I would say yes Christopher is screwed but she did not.
Moltisanti has always been good, but his lifestyle changes have made him much more interesting. Imperioli was great in this last one. AJ has always been annoying, but it’s good that he’s finally growing beyond a single dimension. Yeah, he’s still pissing and moaning, but at least now he’s dealing with some real issues on his own. Conversely, Paulie used to be one of my favorites, but he’s becoming more of an idiot with each passing episode. Tony’s recent reversals have already been well documented here. With all of this about-facing, I’d like to see Sil finally blow a gasket in a surprising way for a few minutes. But for a good reason. Then he can go right back to being cool and collected.
I know I’m completely alone on this, but I’m going to put in my vote for “Almost nothing will come of the screenwriter’s death.” This is a trope that “The Sopranos” has used over and over again: the death of innocents that end up having absolutely no legal consequences for these mobsters. We saw it earlier this season with Bobby’s execution of that French kid in the laundramat. Endless speculation on these boards about what would happen, DNA evidence, will he get caught, etc. etc. etc.
Nothing came of it. And it’s not the first time something like this has happened either (remember when Chris/Paulie killed the waiter outside that restaurant? There are plenty more like that too). Anyway, Chris puts a bullet in this guy’s head, and again we’re off to the races here on these boards about what’s going to happen to him, but I have a feeling that we won’t hear about it again.
However, my prediction is if it’s brought up at all, Tony might mention it, they’ll have a brief talk, Chris will apologize, it’ll all be good. If things between Chris and Tony come to a head, it won’t be because of this. The only thing that makes me think this might not be treated like those other murder plotlines is that the writer was integral to “The Cleaver,” which is playing a major recurring role each episode this season.
The way that kid was screaming when they were pouring the acid on his toes…yikes.
Hate to see Chrissy on the booze again…shocking as hell seeing him kill J.T.
Paulie driving on his lawn was hilarious though…
Hard to believe we only have 4 more episodes. Can’t wait to see how it’s gonna end…
And I love how Tony’s got a sawed-off in the middle console of his Escalade…
