She didn’t just overhear a coversation between them, Chris assaulted Dolan with one of his awards.
Dolan getting killed is a little more than just a civilian like the waiter or the guy Bobby clipped at the laundramat. Dolan is a credited writer on a very public business venture involving people that the FBI has a hard on for.
I actually found Tim Daly’s sudden death less shocking than the shot of Tony pulling up while listening to “Tom Sawyer”.

Yes and that incident can be explained as an argument that got out of control due to artistic differences. Remember Dolen was doing some shouting himself (which is why Christopher hit him).

I’m quite aware of the differences and I’m saying the only way this comes back to bite Christopher in the ass is if there is evidence left behind - he never touched anything and wiped the door handle off as he was leaving.
Evidence only means something in terms of the police, that’s not really where Chris is gonna feel the most heat. He’s on thin ice with Tony as it is. He was once being groomed to take things over and now look where he stands, walking in on dealings involving Tony, Sil, and Bobby that appear to be much more lucrative than anything Chris is doing.
AJ is a true Soprano – it only took a little leg-breaking to get him out of his funk!
Eileen, I didn’t see Chris wiping the door handle.

Sure, but is that some sort of airtight alibi? It’s enough of a “sin” on Christopher’s part that they’ll come sniffing, and I’d guess that’s going to seal his fate more than anything.

I still don’t buy that this is gonna bring him down. I could be wrong, but these guys always kill people and get away with it. I know that JT’s situation/relationship is different than the randoms that they kill, but I’m still thinking Chris will skate on this.
Probably. We’re just laying odds and speculating. That these kills are happening so close to the end is priming us to think they’ll be more significant than they ultimately end up being. Which has the potential to be lots more subversive and interesting.
Random example, but tonight could be the culmination of Anthony Jr.'s character. We catch a glimpse of him truly becoming Tony Jr., and he’s next (and finally) cheered up and teasing his sister at the dinner table. “My rotten putrid genes”, indeed. And Bleak.

When Meadow talks to her parents about AJ she mentions a roommate that jumped off a building. Is that the same roommate we saw in a previous season? She’s the one who started drinking heavy and crying about homeless people.

No, both parents knew all about her and her craziness, so Meadow would’ve called her by name or at least “my roommate” rather than “that girl in my dorm”. But it was the first thing I thought, too.
Best episode in a long time this week (and they’ve all been strong lately); interesting that they finally seem to be taking AJ down the mafia road like people have speculated for years. But I’m getting more and more worried. I’m thinking there may have to be another big whacking before the end, and they’ve already suggested Bobby, Paulie, Hesh and Christopher as possible targets. But given they’re propensity for misdirection and rapidly developing storylines (AJ was pretty far from the family business a week ago), I think my main man Sil had better watch his magnificent pompadour.
