Duncan being hit by a car is officially the funniest moment on TV this year.
An ok episode. The astro-projection junk was lame. It should he just been a Lex flashback episode, would have worked much better as a straight character piece.

Watch Justice League Unlimited. Green Arrow kicks all kinds of ass. I like him more than Batman.
I was pretty impressed with last night’s entry. They fleshed out Lex even more, and maintained the “Oliver Queen used to be a total cock before the shipwreck” aspect of his origin.
Over all, nicely done.
Green Arrow to me will always be the crazy anarchist hanging upside down in The Dark Knight Returns. Sort of the anti-John Galt is always how I see him turning out. And that always puts a smile on my face.
Can’t wait for the upcoming episode that will reunite all the heroes together. Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow and of course Clark.
They are making a dumb mistake by not having Batman involved.

there’s a rumor of a non-cameo appearance in the episode, in that the character won’t appear but a half eaten bag of Oreo cookies will represent him.
So how long does Lana have to live? I can’t even count the number of times she’s gotten knocked on the head, passed out, and can’t remember what happened. Hell, Lex & Clark even had a discussion about it.
IIRC, Steve Young (49ers QB) & Troy Aikman (Dallas QB) both had to retire because if they suffered one more concussion, they could suffer serious brain damage later on in life. And I think they both retired after their 6th concussion. Lana has to have that beat by a mile!
True, the show isn’t exactly the most realistic show on TV. But it would be really cool if the writers killed her off of the show - not by some villain killing her, but due to her multiple head traumas…

I thought last night was alright, but it really appears they’ve cut the budget here and there. The Fortress of Solitude (both interior and exterior) looked pretty weak, IMO). I think WWE’s Batista is appearing soon. That should be a cool smack down.

Ha, I was having those same thoughts about Lex, after Bow Wow threw him in the glass table. I would love to put together a YouTube montage of Lex and Lana getting the shit kicked out of them.
Yeah that shot of Lex crashing through a table had major Deja vu about it. I was ashamed that I recognized Bow Wow before I even saw his name appear as guest star (in fact I looked for his name to confirm my suspicions), but he wasn’t so awful. Overall wasn’t the best or worst episode this week and the “Lex is working with the Egyptians” thing made me smile. Lana and Lex are really boring me though and for me the whole thing starts to stall when we have these little interludes of them playing games or making veiled comments to each other in the mansion. Lex is integral but for goodness sake find something to do with Lana or get rid of her, and get Lex doing some more real evil shit instead of sneaking around with secret experiments and meetings. It’s boring already.
At this rate its taken six seasons from Lex to go from a little bit shady to not a nice person, with little development other than the destruction of his and Clark’s relationship. At this rate they will expect us to believe Lex goes from rich egotistical thoughtless prick to world dominating super villain overnight. I guess his coffee was cold that morning or something and pushes him over the edge?

And specifically that glass table. I swear lex and others have gone through it at least five times… Might be time to invest in some wood.
I got a distinct “this is the last season” vibe from last episode. The way he seems to be discussing the training, etc.–seems like this is the last hurrah.
aww crap, they’re replacing the mutants with phantom zone refugees. it’s another way to say, “no matter how repetitive, we plan to carry this series until the end of time”.
i really thought such a big property would have an exit plan… this will end badly.
