Another great episode. Crane was amazing in that bank scene.
The three way battle between Franklin’s Monster, War and Death was pretty great as well. Adding quotes from Lovecraft was the icing on the cake.
Adding John Noble as a full time (He’s in the credits now!) villain is probably the best decision this show has made in its second season. Every single scene of him being dastardly is an utter delight. In fact, he seemed to be having so much fun in that final scene (Look at me! I’m an evil lawyer now! And I’m getting people to sign things in blood! Hee hee!) that it was infectious.
Also: Where the hell was this show when I was a kid? As much as it makes me squee right now, ten year old MrSaxon would have squeed ten times louder during a scene that features a three way fight between Franklinstein’s Monster, the Headless Horseman and an evil suit of armor wielding a flaming sword. My childhood was so much emptier without you, Sleepy Hollow.

I think we may have a winning concept for a CHUD Films DTV feature here.
I mean, reanimated Benedict Arnold as the villain, who proceeds to rampage through the battlefields of the independence war, while Franklin, Washington, Adams and Jefferson try to stop him, picking a slave girl by the name of Sally Hemmings on the way, with whom Jefferson becomes involved with. The final battle taking place in Adam’s malthouse, which explodes, killing the monster and his army of zombie redcoats.

This show. This fucking amazing show. This season, sure, only second episode in, has been utterly, awesomely bonkers and such a delight.

I had a thought today: given Ben Franklin’s dabblings with the occult and fear and obsession with death… Mid-Season Finale: Benjamin Franklin is alive and kicking around Sleepy Hollow somewhere and later becomes the Q figure for our heroes.
Caught up with this week’s episode last night, SO GOOD.
I always love when they use the terriffic full credits sequence too, and it’s so awesome that John Noble is in it now.
That last scene was excellent.

Finally saw this week’s ep, another winner.
I totally dig the fact the show just starts right out and goes over 10 minutes before opening credits begin.
Also skeleton head monster looks so damn dope! I’m glad he’s got a horse too.
I can’t wait for other maonster to return. Hopefully they can work out a way to give it a personality.

“I saw the season finale of Glee.” Everything with Crane being asked to show ID was aces.
If it weren’t for Drunk History I wouldn’t have immediately gotten the Baron von Steuben reference.
This show is basically the dude equivalent of Once Upon A Time with American History. And I love every stupid, Kurtzman-inspired conspiratorial-madness induced minute of it.
John Noble is just fantastic. And some excellent work from Abbie and Jenny.
