Nah. just had to throw something up there and that is what I could think of on the fly. The Facebook page uses a different term, I need to go check it out and then edit that post…

*ETA: Well, indeed. The Sleepy Hollow Fb page, refers to fans as: Sleepyheads. And to Ichabod and Abbie as: Ichabbie.

There ya go.

Also: I love the fact that the “Previously on Sleepy Hollow” preview used fake scenes from the Year That Never Was. I bet everyone involved laughed at the thought of people in households looking at one another and saying “When did Ichabod and Abbie do that? Did we miss an episode last season?”

AYes you all should follow the sleepy hollow writers on twitter

Finally Molochhas kicking threads, instead of running around naked after school kids in the forest.

Damn I missed this show.! There was so many great Ichabod moments: seeing his phone didn’t have enough memory to save his final message, using the sulfur to escape the the coffin, and saying he had been punked.

I liked how Abbie knew which Ichabod was real.

Like some of you, I was so damn confused for a bit. Clever.

This might be the only thing I like/will like from Orci and Kurtzman, and that’s ok by me. They can use what little talent they have delivering the most batshit insane fun time, and I’ll keep watching the hell out of it.

Yep, I was confused at first too. So happy to have this back. Pretty cool way to have the headless horseman have his head too for conversations, but it makes him way less scary I think.

That armour Moloch gave Walter Bishop at the end was so awesome. I kept thinking “GOD OF WAR”.

This show is batshit insane. But it works. Oh boy does it work.

OMGosh, forgot to mention that I was at Rose City Comic Con this last weekend. Had a booth with a couple who are both friends. The dude, who is a fabulous comic book artist, recently got a gig to do art for Sleepy Hollow promotions. How cool is that??

We’re standing at the booth on Saturday. The usual parade of cosplayers and general attendees are walking about. Then, all of a sudden, we all see HIM. The Hessian from Sleepy Hollow. A good sized dude, all dressed up as the Horseman BEFORE beheading. He walks by the booth, and my friend shouts out, “Hessian!”, he turns around and agrees to get his picture taken. Oh my, his outfit was perfect, right down to the head harness and tattoo (on the back of the head). He agreed to be a reference and might even be compensated for his time!

I have another story of Will Wheaton signing one of my brewery prints and now, having two of them (as a gift from me) and talking with him for a bit. He’s a beer lover and is brewing his own. But that story, while cool, is nothing compared to seeing The Hessen. By and far, my favorite costume of this con (and there were some great ones - like a Galactus complete with a wee Silver Surfer on his shoulder).

My bad and fixed.

I actually would have loved it if they had stuck with the year time jump. Would have sucked to lose Abby’s sister and Crane’s wife. But talk about a bold stroke.

It took me a few minutes to recognize Busfield as Ben Franklin.

And yeah, telepathically controlled suit of armor with a flaming sword was badass.

Yeah, I knew it was someone I recognized, but I couldn’t tell who. Then the next day it hit me as i was driving. I enjoyed dick Ben Franklin.

They just dropped Lovecraft quotes into a ritual to bring a being back from the dead. Holy fuck.

Okay, so this show was created by Orci and Kurtzman (“writers” on Star Tek into darkness, the Bayformers movies and Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Len “Underworld” Wiseman?

No fucking way. This show gets everything right that these guys miss by a thousand miles on the big screen.

It just doesnt add up.

I’m going with ritual sacrifice. The Old Ones must be pleased.

A dark basement somewhere, years ago…

“Okay, so in order to actually be able to create a good, entertaining show that doesnt insult its audience intelligence, has some degree of love and respect for its inspirations and genre, and is actually well liked by internet nerds, what must we sacrifice to the Old Ones?”

“By my calculations, we should sacrifice the dreams and hopes of millions, crush their most beloved and holy icons, and further contribute to the mental chains that keep mankind shackled and stunted”

“Okay, so about two transformers movies with Michael Bay; he introduced us to the Order of Dagon, so he will help”

“Wait, we’re forgetting about my deal!”

“Oh right, making it so the spell of charm you casted on Kate Beckinsale doesnt fade away”

“Tricky…I guess we’ll have to add Star Trek and Amazing Spider-man 2 to the ritual”

“Will that be enough?”

“Maybe..if not, we can always get Lindelof to help by tainting that Alien prequel”

“Well, that oughta do it.”

ALoved Irving’s “then what the fuck are we even doing here?” look when the new sheriff said “we both know those results can be faked.”

My favorite scene was Crane reading the riot act to the dude trying to sign him up for a credit card.
