So if Quentin’s the new Christian (self-absorbed, sex-crazed asshole), and Christian’s the new Sean (self-righteous, family man), what does that make Sean?
Also, family watch: Matt makes an appearance. Still no sign of Annie!
This show is really beginning to disappoint me. The storylines aren’t near as good as they were during Season 1 and parts of Season 2.
What happened to the Carver?
Where did the Kit, the Brit detective go post-attack?
Something really needs to happen soon, damnit!
I guess they’re trying to drag out the Carver storyline until the end of the season so now we are getting some filler subplots. Sean getting close with the witnesses does seem like a bit much. It really makes no sense as to why they wouldn’t be showing how the detective is recovering from the attack, or why there isn’t another cop being assigned to the case.
A crappy episode. I restarted my TiVo and magically all of it appeared.
Matt is being a whiny little bitch. I did like his camera mock, though.
I enjoyed this episode. Sean getting involved w/ Anne Heche made perfect sense - his own family has been crapping on him for… a loooong time now. Christian trying to gain a new family was a nice continuation of his issues dating back to the beginning of the show, and Kimber plotting out Mom’s life for her as they are introduced was truly uncomfortable and funny.
And, hey, a patient left happy!
Fuck! My DVR cut off and I missed the ending. Can anyone tell me what happened? It stopped when Sean was having his fingerprints burned off.
I loved the Face/Off stuff. I may have to pop in that movie tomorrow.
Also, Christian’s back!!! Looks like a return to the self-aggrandizing, sex fanatic we all know and love. I definitely can’t wait to see how Quentin responds to Christian’s “intervention”. Maybe he is the Carver and he’ll attack again as revenge.

Kimber confronted Christian, aware that he had slept with her ‘student’ [he made no denials]. She said she wasn’t mad, because she was in effect, a replica of her own self. She then told Christian she would give up the porn biz. She presented him with a pre-nup that stated no more porn for her, but no more cheating for him. She did tell him it allowed for 3ways, which made him happy. [Though he didn’t sign it yet]
At the McNamara residence, we see Nikki packing and the man from the park bathroom enters. He roughs her up and prepares to shoot her. As they talk, Sean enters and hears the commotion. He bursts into the bedroom-- to realize it was all a figment of his imagination. There is a note on the bed from Nikki, telling Sean they left and to not look for them-- it’s for the best.
Then we see that the face transplant was rejected, and the surgeons remove the dead tissue, but remark that at least the girl is still alive.

Just like this week’s episode of Desperate Housewives, after several uneven episodes, this show also had a nice return-to-form last night.
I had a feeling that the facial transplant was not going to work out. Also, I am glad that Nikki the mafia wife is gone. To me, that was a stupid tangent for Sean’s character development.
I might be the only one that didn’t like this episode. It was a return to the characters we know and love, but that shit with the mafia and witness protection came out of left field. Lets not go back there again.

agreed. that was easily the worse storyline this show has ever had. it was totally ridiculous of sean to even consider leaving his life for some chick he’s known for a few weeks. i’m glad we don’t have to stare at freaky ann heche again.
Ann Heche was looking pretty scary… to the point when I didn’t realize it was her.
even when they turned her back to her regular self there was just something off. her eyes maybe?
the kid after his surgery looked totally the same. i don’t think dying his hair blonde is going to save his life. sean’s worst surgery performance for sure.
Her eyes seemed really hollow. Like they were lighting her differently on purpose.
I loved this past episode. The scene with the cake tasting was priceless. Sean and Christian pretending to be a gay couple cracked me the hell up. So does anyone have any thoughts on Kimber leaving Christian at the alter. I for one think its possible she was kidnapped or something. You could see the door open in the background but nobody was standing there when she was doing last minute preps before she walked down the isle. Also she didnt look to stressed or nervous when she said “Sean I will be right there.” I could be wrong but when I originally watched that scene saw the door open and no one there I figured it was gonna be the Carver to slash her.Like I sais I could be wrong but I still think there is something fishy about her leaving Christian at the alter.
I was really bored with this episode. Way too much talking.
I also thought that the Carver was going to attack Kimber. I’m not sure what really happened to her in those last few minutes.
One thing I did notice is that Liz was nowhere to be seen in the wedding audience, unless they showed her real quick and I missed it. That might be some kind of clue for things to come.
I too thought Kimber’s last scene was shot strangely, with the door opening but us not seeing who was there. I guess next week should tell us what’s up, since it does have her in it in some manner.
It wouldn’t really fit for the Carver to appear there. His attacks show more anger than plotting, and the doctors haven’t really done anything recently to warrant suck a risky move as kidnapping a woman from a crowded chapel.
And I guess it’s about time for me to give up the theory of Julia’s boyfriend from season 1 and episode 1 of this year as the Carver, since it seems that really was simply the weirdest cameo ever. Damn.
