Also: Here’s an amusing video I found via Reddit of a solo player who managed to stow away on a ship manned by four players, somehow stealthed past them and discovered their treasure hoard (which he started stealing), as well as an explosive barrel which he used to put a hole in the bottom of their ship, causing it to sink!
Keep your fingers crossed guys. The servers are getting some more maintenance and are due to be back again twenty minutes before we’re due to start. Hopefully everything goes okay and we’re able to log in as planned.
The water in the game is crazy cool. So much so I can’t stop staring at it to pay attention to the video.
Yeah, they’ve done a really good job with how everything looks. The Reddit pages are filled with screenshots of eclipses, sunlight filtering through trees and moonlight reflections on water. For a game with a caroony art style, it’s surprisingly beautiful.

Rare’s Twitter feed is taking a real beating at the moment, because of the connection issues everyone is currently experiencing. I’d be angry too if the game had released, but it is a Beta after all.
