Are there any in-game benefits to drinking grog or is it there purely for the amusement of characters getting drunker and drunker?
ARight now it’s purely for the LULz. Although doing it on our own might have prepared us for carrying the Chest of 1000 Grogs.
Some chests are “cursed” so they do things to your character and/or vessel. We sunk once because I forgot one of the chests we found wails and cries and when it does it fills your boat with water that you have to bail out with your bucket.
Freeman was being Freeman and mocking my inability to locate my bucket.

In all seriousness, I was stuck on K+M last night because my DS4Windows was not connecting my controller. But this might have been the very type of game I needed to practice learning those skills. You’d have to ask D.T. how competent a 1st mate I was being hampered in that way.
According to Freeman and tcjsavannah, just listening was well worth the price of admission. The latter tuned in on his drive home from work and said, “This is way more entertaining than Sirius XM.”

Noon EST onward I’m available all day. And after 5 today. I should probably drop into Discord more often, but I usually only go there if we have something planned.
Okay, I’ll suggest 1pm Central tomorrow to D.T. That way we have at least three hours to mess around before Tzu needs to dash.
