So we finally found out how Leonard lost his hand. Funny stuff.
Tonight was fantastic. Great comedy, great character development, and just the right dose of quirkyness. Glad to see they’ve gotten the gears oiled back up–can’t wait for the rest of the season now.
Janitor, Kelso, Muffin…GOLDEN!
Glad this episode was a little funny for a change from last weeks (Bob Kelso calling the kid Gay aside).
Always a bad sign when the characters get kids - these emotional moments cant have the long dramatic impact on this show - compare and episode from each year fo the show. Last weeks episode had a level of sugar and cheese that shouldnt be present - it was dreadful.
Hence, JDs love is going to be banished to cameo-central. And for all the talk of JD and Turk being best buds…they seem to not actually hang out or DO anything anymore.
Great to see the Janitor in action again.

This week’s episode is a House parody. I could see this going either way.

I’ve just started watching scrubs and i love the show. I haven’t been able to catch any of the new episodes but I’m looking forward to the day that I get the opportunity to.
Hey, it didn’t suck! Although I have a hard time believing Dr. Cox would willingly wear those shitty styrofoam shoes.
A large chunk of the episode felt out of place. I just can’t put my finger on it…
Physical comedy doesn’t usually make me laugh as much as other people, but for some reason, Ted getting hit on his bald head with the paintball gun absolutely destroyed me. I honestly couldn’t stop laughing for a good couple of minutes.
This episode was okay, but nothing special.
Cox had a few choice lines and there were a few good pratfalls and other silly stuff, but it was far from great.
This episode gave me a new vocabulary word: “Mega-loathe.” That alone makes it classic.
And I do love it when Scrubs takes the piss out of other medical shows that shamelessly ape its elements–as good as Hugh Laurie is on House, the character’s always been Romano meshed with Cox with a limp and minus all that great writing.
And every asshole doctor in the last two decades, including Cox, has been influenced by William Daniels on “St. Elsewhere.” Which Scrubs, itself, has paid homage to.
Greg, you know I love ya, but Scrubs is nowhere near as original as you make it out to be sometimes.
