Great episodes. A little sillier than usual, which I like. There was some disturbing stuff, like half-Turk/half-Elliot, waking up during an appendectomy, and, of course, chest hands.
My favorite gems were “Almost Magazine” and “infamous for serpents.”
something just felt a bit off on these past two episodes. It was like they were aaaalmost at something great, but it just didnt get there for me. Its kinda feeling like season 3 when I felt the show started to lose its way a bit until it made a roaring comeback last year.
It’s because they are bringing everyone back together. They fucked with so much shit last year that it’s taking a few episodes to get everything back in order.
I liked that bit. They need to throw that in every once in a while so Kelso doesn’t turn into a one note guy. It’s like the Tuscaloosa (??) Heart episode from season one.
I was listening to a Season 2 commentary the other day (holy shit, did they do an awful job recording these) and Bill Lawrence said Jenkins claims he doesn’t get any of Kelso’s lines. Considering his awesome delivery, I find that hard to believe.

Yeah, the gay surgeon (what’s his name!?) hanging from the bungie was one of the most hilarious moments, especially when you know he had to actually perform that stunt to get the laugh. Makes it 10 times funnier.
