NBC - get on the ball, let the new season be on itunes now! (although I heard securing song rights were an issue for the dvds, so i can’t imagine the new season being on itunes).

The man cards were the best. I liked the return of Johnny the Tackling Alzheimer’s patient, too.
But why did Christa Miller decide to have plastic surgery? Boo.
Caught maybe one or two episodes of this during it’s run. DVDs came out, I stocked up, and fell in love. Fabulous show-- but I’m sure posting here is preaching to the choir. Anxiously awaiting Seasons 3 and 4 on DVD to get fully caught up.
That said, last night was pretty good. Doesn’t seem like any “huge” changes since Season 2 because all the major players were still there. Christa looked off. A shame, I think she’s a very attractive woman but the surgery is quite distracting.
The man cards were a great bit.
Glad to see Scrubs back in action.

And the reason for the back-to-back episodes is definitely because of the Olympics.
NBC should’ve kept My Name is Earl and The Office on Tuesday to air alongside this. Why is Thursday so important? Why can’t there be another night of the week that is “Must See TV”?
I honestly can’t think of another show where every single cast member had such perfect comic delivery. Kelso kills me.
The look on Cox’s face when he sees the multiple cardboard cutouts of J.D. should be enough of a case to give John C. McGinley every award on the planet. I about fell out of my chair at that part.
Also:
“Meet your death.”
“How do you bug someone without being near them?”
“Whenever I percieve something as a problem, I count to ten. This is me counting to ten before I turn into a firey white ball of rage and destroy the problem. The problem has until the count of ten to rectify itself. One. Two…”
I also liked the intern POV cam in the first episode–the show remains creative on both sides of production, and oh how I love it.
Johnny the tackling alzheimer’s patient kills me every time. “Who am I?” Makes me laugh only thinking of it. They really threw some brilliant and absurd things in there last night. I love the Turk vs. Omar confusion. “Turks are sneaky. I think Omar stole my pudding.” Also, Christa Miller’s surgery makes her look like my ex-girlfriend which is off-putting. Neil Flynn and John C. McGinley continue to be to be two of the funniest people on my tv screen.
This was a really strong and funny season premiere for a great show.

“Who Am I!?” still gets big laughs here, but there was something about the second episode that felt entirely off.
I think the second one might have felt off because J.D. really wasn’t at the center of the episode–it was more Elliot-centric, and while Sarah Chalke is beautiful and Elliot’s neuroticness lends itself to some great comedy, I don’t think she’s the kind of character that belongs center stage.
Still, Scrubs slightly off-balence is better than 98% of what’s on TV.
Hope it’s off like that all the time, then. That was some great shite. Elliot trying to sell the pipe, the Siamese twin stuff, “I want the laughter back.”
Another great start to one of the best comedies on TV,(network or cable) and I enjoyed both of these episodes.

ATonights double episodes were MUCH better than last weeks.
And beside Christa Miller’s “new look” (I think she must have lost some weight, which is a shame because I thought she was adorable before), has anyone else noticed Donald Faisons teeth? It looks like he got them fixed, but now they look like Matt Dillons teeth in “There’s something about Mary”.
Why do people feel they have to change their physical appearance to be idealized versions of themselves?
Sad.
Anyway, Scrubs was back big time tonight.
