I don’t think she has a clear enough concept of the world to understand any differences.
The schadenfreude is delicious.

Their top story is that she was taken to the USC medical center. I was wondering what you had against USC. I had to scroll down a bit to see what you were talking about. Yikes.
I find this story mildly entertaining because of how completely over-the-top it is, especially in regards to media attention. I hate that major news sites and networks fall all over each other to breathlessly cover every little twist and turn of this stupid little case. But at least it’s more interesting and less tragic than the Anna Nicole crap. I was originally going to write something about how we want to be reassured that our legal system treats everyone equally, even celebrities, and that the excessive media coverage is what holds the system accountable. But this story really is just about seeing a celebrity taken down a few pegs. Oh, and ass herpes. It’s also about ass herpes.
Wait… she really has herpes? I was just kidding.
Ah, I don’t think it’s all just misogyny. If this was Brandon Davis, the result would be much the same. Maybe a few less STD jokes and a couple more sweaty, porky pig-face cracks. Who doesn’t like to see a rich shitwit take one on the chin? Especially one who has absolutely nothing to contribute to society or culture or you name it. And if anyone’s ever gotten a similar sentence for the same violation then she completely deserves it.
Actually, it’s too bad she didn’t kill someone while she was driving drunk. In LA celebrity murderers get a free walk.
(Do I find this as important as Darfur or Iraq? No. But it’s a lot funnier and this took, what, ten minutes to type and it’s a Friday. Sue me. Sue us all.)
Now rumor has it that the sheriff took campaign money from Paris’s grandfather.

This is getting all CHINATOWN, isn’t it?
I shouldn’t be interested in this. I don’t know why I care. But it’s fascinating to me, how all these dominoes are falling right now.

Funniest and most satisfying image of the year. Justice prevails, even against stupid spoiled whores.
Now it’s definitely getting misogynistic and weird in here.
A young woman cries as she heads back to Prison for a minor offence, the world cheers at this great feat of Justice and Decency.
I’m more surprised at the leniency towards DUI’s on display, both in here and by the justice system.

Correction: A young woman who was caught DUI, had her license removed and told to join a rehab program, didn’t bother to register for said program, was caught once driving without a license and let off with a warning, then caught for a second time driving without a license, was sent to prison for 23 days and three days later was let out because she was not happy being in prison, cries as she heads back to Prison.
And even ignoring the blatant contempt for the law, driving while completely hammered is hardly a minor offense. Because you can kill someone and that’s not hot. And may I state once more that she was not sent to prison for DUi but because she didn’t bother to obey the judge’s orders and take a fucking cab until she was eligible to get her license back?

I love that phrase.
I’m going to avoid getting into misogynistic territory, but I hope any person that willfully drives under the influence burns in hell. I have been a victim of a head-on collision by someone drunk off their ass and it cost me my best friend’s life and severely injured my wife and permanently injured me. That’s where I am coming from when I say that I’m glad she is suffering. The same with that asshole from Prison Break that killed a teenager while drunk driving. May they all burn in hell.
There, I’m done.

I seem to recall it was at night and she didn’t have the car headlights on, either. How many chances to do the right thing is she allowed?

She’s trash.
No, she’s a human being.
I like that some people are pretty much ok with drunk driving.
When I heard on the radio that she being brought back to jail, I did feel bad for her. This is getting ridiculous.
She’s trash because she has no respect for the law. If this happened to any one of here, NO would be feeling sorry for us.
I don’t hate her, I just hate her attitude in that she thinks she’s above us mere plebians.
