i think kit most likely only performed a carving on quentin. when sean and christian were performing surgery on him sean said that the carver was starting to get sloppy. she may have possibly helped assist in the sorority though.
the finale was a pretty much a disappointment. it had some solid moments within the 2 hours but they really went the easy way out in deciding to go with the two newest people, whom nobody cares about, as the bad guys. grow some fucking balls! the timeline at the end of the episode was fucking terrible too. matt pop’s up right out of the blue as if he never just witnessed a murder.

Matt coming home was by far the less out of the blue moment in the show. He could have easily helped out with the guys body. (Which is something I’m wondering: Did they bury the guy or did they go to the police?)

It’s shame because the concept was fantastic.
As a side note, even when Quentin was giving his speech about his gentital defect, I was still thinking how obvious a direction the plot was going and hoping that I was wrong.

well i thought it was out of the blue. was that scene one day after the murder? or was it a month? the timeline was a total fucking mess. we see sean and christian head up to maine. then there’s the dinner scene. i think this scene actually takes place before they went to maine. it would help explain why they didn’t even acknowledge what they learned about quentin and kit. when matt showed up to the house it was as if it was shortly after the murder and he hadn’t seen his family yet. matt was all fucked up and he needed a place to be. well that’s how it seemed to me anyways. so did matt and cherry go to the police or did they bury aeriel’s father? either way he’s most likely going to be speaking to the police because aeriel knew he was with her father. throughout the season the show seemed to ignore many issues. kit disappeared for about 8 weeks and they never even brought up the whole issue with julia’s mother after we learned she wasn’t on the plane. all i know is matt better not be in high school next season.
Also, if the did go to the police, the girl could easily say she didn’t know anything about Matt and the tranny getting kidnapped since her father is now dead.
It will be interesting to see if they even do anything with that.
I was going to try and comment on people’s posts, but the more I think about this episode the more I hate it. The timeline, the plotholes, everything is a complete mess. I’m gonna try and forget this season ever happened and pray that Ryan Murphy returns as head writer next season. On the flip side, the trailer for Running With Scissors, the movie Ryan Murphy left Nip/Tuck to write and direct, looks pretty good.
Yeah, the timeline made this a complete clusterfuck.
I’m slowly starting to regret ever getting excited over the Carver timeline, as everyone seemed to forget about him/her until the next attack.
And Sean having his pinky cut off and then minutes later having it bandaged up just blows my mind. These people should be running around with superhero costumes on.

Oh if this show’s MO is an accurate representation of things, they definitely WON’T touch on the carver ever again. They dropped Kit for 6 episodes, they totally left julia’s mother situation unresolved, annie is nowhere to be seen, all of a sudden Gina comes out of nowhere and plays a significant role after being a nonissue. This show is notorious for leaving dangling threads and never doing anything with them until its convenient.
And I am all for illogical endings (i watch 24 for christ’s sake), but this one was just too obviously illogical. I am pretty pissed at how it all ended.
The final was a huge disappointment. I’m especially upset because creator Ryan Murphy lied about the final. In an interview I read earlier this year, Murphy literally said that the Carver would be someone who’d been with the show since Season 1 and that the identity would be revealed in the final minutes, which proved to be false. He could’ve just said no comment to the question or not responded at all, but to mislead us so deliberately and get rid of the two most disposable characters is such a cop out. This show is no longer cutting edge.

murphy wasn’t as hands on this season but he was invoved in the story’s this season. he just didn’t write as many scripts. murphy actually wrote and directed the final hour. i felt that this episode was the biggest disaster of the entire season. if anything, he seemed to fuck things up even more.

The 2nd series dived into silliness, this just became soap-opera.
The beginnin of the final episode where they quickly recapped all the things that may make us doubt the reveal ‘college blowjob’, ‘grabbing ass’.
Leaving us with a few more ‘Kit during foursome’, ‘Kit in general’.
Quentin was always going to be the Carver, the lack of penis felt added in so we could suspect Liz (a much more daring choice), it was at this point i realised that it wouldn pan out too well. And if you look back, you can see that Kit as his sister was clearly a last minute decision - as it plain old doesnt make sense. Their characters and personalities completely changed to fit this plot contrivance (or is it a twist?)
Very obvious that Kit was his sister while she was telling the doctors WHERE TO GO TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH. Also, quentin was lying there dead for quite a while - after just one bullet in the stomach WOULDNT SOMEONE AT LEAST CHECK HES DEAD? MAYBE WHEN HES STILL WARM AND BREATHING WHILE THEY PUT HIM IN A BODY BAG?

They try too hard to re-create the happy norm ‘the best micro surgeon worked on Seans pinky’ - lucky that - or we may have had a difficult story situation.

Has it occurred to anyone that Christian and Sean didn’t KNOW that Quentin was still alive? They saw him shot. Kit declared him dead. They would have been far to concerned about Sean’s hand to check-up.
Who would have come to tell them otherwise? They did learn about Kit’s involvement at the convent but, as far as they were concerned, the carver was dead.
I actually loved the ending, particularly when Matt said he was ready for boring. I felt exactly the same way. After such an overwrought few episodes, I was more than ready to get back to the mundane day to day!
you said it yourself, kit was the one who declared quentin had died. sean and christian eventually found out who she really was. how stupid do you think they can be that they can’t put two and two together? they don’t know for a fact whether or not if he’s still alive but i’m pretty sure they’re atleast considering it.

In the wake of the major TV networks recently talking up their fall plans, FX has decided to share a little info of its own, specifically with regard to the upcoming fourth season of “Nip/Tuck.” In an attempt to avoid the craptacularity of the third season (the needless over-the-top shenanigans, the Bond-like penis-less villain and his Machiavellian sister, etc.), FX is moving to one of the two TV standbys. While season five will inevitably include the new cute kid, leaving smears of his craplicious cuteness all over the place, the impending season four is turning to the Tao of More Guest Stars. First, there’s the appearance of Brooke Shields in the premiere as a shrink, to the utter dismay of her morning show rival and psychiatry-hating enemy, one Thomas Cruise Mapother IV. If she can turn her “Suddenly Susan” dial up to eleven, this season could actually hit all new levels of craptitude right out of the gate. Meanwhile, Kathleen Turner shows up later on in the season, looking for vocal cord surgery (and apparently continuing the ongoing theme of gender confusion). But most importantly, the fourth season will see the return of Larry Hagman, who hasn’t done anything movie or TV-wise in about eight years. I’m ecstatic about Hagman’s return to Hollywood, not specifically because he’ll be playing the elder husband of a hot little number who gets financially involved with Drs. Troy and McNamara, but because it opens up the possibility that the shitty third season was just a dream!
