I understand what you’re saying, but I’d just like to see more gay and bi characters on tv whose problems aren’t related to their sexuality. I also tire of seeing characters going from straight, to gay, and then back again so often. The time when just having gay characters on a show, but not doing a lot with their storylines was good enough has passed for me.
I hear ya. I’m surprised you haven’t commented on the fact that Liz’s storyline this week. Instead of the show allowing her to hook up and be done with it, they had to make her lover a kidney thief (or at least the bait).
What the balls is going on? The only thing crazier than this episode was the promo for next week’s episode. Somehow they’ve come up with a way to up the ante, and that seemed impossible. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, or if the show is rocketing over the shark, but it’s entertaining.
Still, not enough Dinklage.
I thought this was going to be mainly a fluff episode (as fluff as this show could get), but the stuff with Christian this week was really good.
At least we know that the Liz incident was actually part of a recurring storyline.

The scientology stuff really weirds me out as well. Matt just keeps making stupid decision after stupid decision but I mean who could turn down anything Kelly Carlson was offering you? I was a bit dissapointed his scientology buddies saved him from the debrainwashing (is that even a word?). Does anyone think Matt and Kimber are going to get together or will Matt eventually realize shes really gone off the deep end?
I’m actually surprised at how far they’re taking the Scientology plotline, and with the way things are going, they’re probably going to take it a whole lot further. And I haven’t heard anything about it yet, which is also surprising. Also really liked Carlson’s line about Julia’s ring.
And no, I don’t think I could turn down whatever Carlson was offering…

I’m betting he’ll make his move and she’ll reject him. Kimber sincerely believes she’s helping Matty out. And there’s nothing to suggest, she digs him in the slightest. So far, it’s been completely one-sided (and the side is his).

I’m getting annoyed with the show again. Sean and Christian do enough fucked up things to their own lives without needing to have psycho stalkers plotting against them. I was happy they finally ended the babysitter nonsense and then, bam, they thrown in the psycho shrink. Ya basta!
Also, apparently getting your kidney removed doesn’t need a long recovery time.

Agreed. I heaved a sigh of relief when that bus finally hit (is it sad that I’ve been conditioned to expect a “shocking” car accident any time anyone is having a conversation in a car or the street?), only to give a sigh of frustration when we saw Faith in the tattoo parlor.
Quite frankly, I’m not buying the true love! thing going on between Michelle and Christian. They’re both smokin’ hot, and there’s lots of sexual chemistry… but I don’t feel an emotional connection between the two. I still feel like Michelle is being disingenuous and I haven’t quite figured out if Christian has latched onto her because he’s still trying to work through his orientation issues?
Anyway, I’m thinking this would be a perfect time for Ava Moore to visit Miami - she could talk some sense into Matt, I think. Or heck, even Gina to make an appearance. I’m missing the snark…
