Holy shit. That opening scene at counseling was heartbreaking.
That would be hilarious if the guy who was cuckolding Jack showed up at the end of the episode a la Desmond.

I don’t know if I can make it from November to February with no new Lost. These commercial breaks alone are killing me.
It’s great to see this side of Jack. We’ve seen him obsessed, but not obsessed and creepy and sad.

Sawyer’s storyline had to be the most bizarre and hilarious.
I guess we’ll see what happened to Kate next episode.
I think the stuff between Kate and Sawyer may have been my favorite part of the episode aside from the opening.

I guess “Find Yourself” really is the theme here, as the “What would you like to find out” is about him and not them.
Best performance by Matthew Fox to date. I actually look forward to his next flashback ep.

Man, what a great opener. Henry/Ben is the motherfucking man! The underwater base was awesome, and props to the poster a few posts up having a theory about “The Others” and having modern settings. Next week can’t come any faster.
Also, loved the quip about the “bears figuring it out in 2 hours.” Answers the question about the Polar Bears.
What an awesome opening for the season. The first few minutes were great and very revealing. I loved the opening scene, as it mirrored the season 2 opener. I actually thought that the rumbling was the electromagnetic pulse going off, but when I saw Henry, I mean Ben, I knew it couldn’t be that.
Those commercial breaks seemed to come way to frequently. I loved how Sawyer finally figured out how to get food, and M.C. Gainey told him it only took the bears 2 hours. The look on Sawyer’s face was priceless. The kid in the other cage seems to me like he could be a plant, like Ana-Lucia last season. I have to agree, Matthew Fox’s best performance to date, and Michael Emerson is expanding on the greatness of Henry/Ben that I saw in the few episodes he was in from last season, he’s going to be competing with Desmond and Mr. Eko as a great new character. I hope he get’s flashbacks.
Now it’s 7 more days till I get to see more new Lost, and 14 until I get to see what happened in the Swan Bunker.
*I got that implication that “Zeke” is gay too. That’s cool.
*It was cool to see the “Others” being dispatched to the plane post explosion

* I don’t think Juliet is going to be a love interest, but we are obviously supposed to question who she is going to cast her allegiance to.

Really liked how this season started. One thing is becoming clear. The producers do seem to have a plan as layer upon layer is added to the mythology of the show. Can’t wait to see what new questions arise out of this season not to mention the bitching about nothing being resolved.

Since they still get Dharma food air dropped to the island I would think they are also able to contact eachother. We know radio transmissions are capable because when Hurly visited that woman in Australia her husband was in a listening outpost and heard the transmission of the numbers.
