I had Its a Wonderful Life set to record Saturday night, so I might actually watch it again this year. Usually its on Christmas Eve night, and serves as nothing more than background noise. Just noticed it has changed to a repeat of the live Sound of Music thing. Bleh.
But a local theater is showing it on the 23rd, so I might just go see that instead.

Caught part of the 1980’s Chipmunk Christmas special yesterday. I hadn’t seen that thing since I was maybe 6 years old. I remember it was recorded on the same tape as an episode of the TV series adaptation of Gung-Ho. Surprise, surpise, it does not hold up well at all.
ASausage balls made, stained glass cookies in the fridge, Scrooged watched, stockings opened. Yep, it’s Christmas Eve.
My Charlie Brown Christmas DVD is scratched beyond watchability though. That is sad but I guess I will make due with Madagascar penguins.
