It’s baaacccccckkkkkk. All during football yesterday they ran the ad for the “premiere event” next Monday. Some kind of 1 hour special and then the 2 hour opener. Yes, I hate myself for watching and liking this show. It seems like those 3-4 or so really, really good episodes each season keep me intrigued through all the rest.
I despise Tim Kring and hope he wisened up after the debacle that was last season. I’ve read numerous interviews where he seems to “get it” just to turn around and make yet another fucking retarded statement that disappoints me to no end.
So yes, I’ll stick around and watch the new season. The premise at least of “Heroes vs. Villians” sounds good. They can’t fuck that up…can they? I mean, come on, its classic good guys kicking the crap out of bad guys. No one, not even Kring can ruin this…right? Shit. Yeah, you’re right. By episode two we’ll find out Sylar is banging mama Petrelli who is really his aunt which he finds out about in an episode that takes place in an alternate future.
HELLZZZ YEAH! I’m excited about this show returning… mostly due to the promos.
As long as they don’t kill off any of my favorites (Hiro, Peter, his bro, the now legal eye candy and her evil but in a good way Dad) I’m coolio with whatever they do as long as it involves lots of characters dying.. preferably by the hands of Syler.
A friend of mine keeps going on about how this season is going to be great based on the promos and some interviews he read. This is after he said last season was bullshit. Some people will never learn I guess. But if Heroes is coming back then Chuck isn’t too far away so I can at least look forward to that.
This show acts as an amazingly horrific mirror held up to the mainstream “geek is chic” movement as it exists now. Too bad that these people have some of the same properties as vampires, otherwise it might have had a cathartic effect of a less stupid kind.
They just forgot as of now. I’ll watch it for at least the first couple episodes. I want to like this show cause I like superheros. They also brought in Marlo Stanfield which is enough to get my attention.
well if there is something worth watching at 9 pm on Mondays, I think Heroes new episodes will be rerun on G4 on Tuesday night. Which might not say much, but it may help with DVR scheduling.
What’s with Volume Three? The proper title of this thread should be Heroes: We’ll copy every cliché in the known comics universe, make it way worse, and morons will find it actually good part 3.
I was out until I found out Marlo and Bubbles were gonna be on. I’ll watch damn near anything to suport the Wire alums. I caught Lester Freeman in the commercial for Life on Mars, but it looks like he is only the part before dude wakes up in the 70’s.

They won’t kill anyone off. They have no balls. This has been proven repeatedly. Not even being inside an exploding building or being shot in the heart/eyehole can kill anyone in this world.
I’ll give it one episode. Once I see everyone who’s supposed to be dead miraculously resurrected, I’m out. Based on my love for genre shows, I gave this cowpie 3x as many episodes as it took me to realize PRISON BREAK was a video brain tumor. Hell, I still watch SMALLVILLE (it’s not my fault, they keep promising to end it!). But barring an episode like the LOST-lite HRG-centric one, someone else will have to bite the bullet and let me know when it’s all over just how big of a train wreck this show turned out to be.

So, that covers the people I like… and it leaves room for people like hot blonde who needs less dialog and more lingerie or annoying sayid wannabe professor who needs to have an aneurysm and become the shows stephen hawkins to die… I’m all for that.
I think the saddest thing that happened to this show was them losing reality altering chick to “Reaper” … it needs more hot eye candy in skimpy clothing, less convoluted plot and more special effects. Also, avoid Mexican wonder twins at all cost.

There’s nothing ingenious about this show. Nothing. It’s dumb TV for dumb people. The WWE has a better storyline than Heroes does. That’s how bad this shit is.
