I came to this thread looking for some righteous indignation at the way they’ve split up Season 2 on DVD, and I leave disappointed. Is no one else bothered by this?

I was late to the BSG party, just finished the first half of Season 2 and now have to wait until like mid-September for the rest of the second season? Now what do I do?

And is the split-up just a money grab, or because of the way the show is released in the UK vs. US, or what?

I wish they’d release a full season set, instead of just the two half-seasons. $100 (srp) for the full set is a bit crazy.

Maybe they will for 3. But for 2 this was the best way to do it. The show got real notice by the halfway point of the season, and with the big gap the DVDs allowed a lot of new people to jump on. It was smart.

It was a smart play for DVD sales. However, I’m still wanting to know how the hell they get away from the Pegasus attack.

Probably the biggest problem I have with the show is Tigh’s (Tighe’s?) wife. I have trouble buying her character and their relationship, they need to flesh her out or something. She seems like more of a type and an occasional plot device than a character.

Tigh’s hairpiece in the (mostly deleted) flashback scenes is outstanding, however.
