One of my favorite throwaway gags has to be the first episode with Henry Winkler. He’s in the bathroom, and before he leaves, he checks himself in the mirror Fonzi style just like in the opening credits of Happy Days. It’s good to see the guy getting some quality work.
This is the kind of show that TiVo was made for. I saw it again last night, and found a couple more gags. When Michael was giving the eulogy, he asks Ice to please stop the blender. Right when Michael finished, guess who Ice was serving the smoothie to?
Yep. Anne. Yet another one of Michael’s “interruptions”.
Another line I missed the first time around was, “It’s as Anne as the nose on Plain’s face.”
I felt the same. I caught a lot of the little jokes, but the episode just didn’t do it for me this week. Granted, I was watching the show with my roommate who doesn’t find it to be funny. Puts a weird feeling in the air.
And Lindsay is really starting to annoy me. I thought she’s been terrible in the last few episodes. The voice bit was beyond awful. “Shemale” was the only good part about her and Maeby’s storyline.
lindsey’s voice sounded like Rita Repulsa from the initial mighty morphin power ranger days. it sounded like crap, but it was delightfully demonic at the same time. I cringed, but was glad it made me do so.
