I don’t think a show this brilliant needs the gimmick of Jerry Seinfeld, but if it helps with the ratings and gets more people interesting in this half-hour of hilarity, then I’m on board.
Now the only question is: when do we get to see JEFFERSON?

Thursday is a goddamn funny night of television. 30 Rock. The Office. It’s Always Sunny.
Yay.
I just want Ghostface to start showing up more often.
MILF Island. 25 MILFs and 8 8th graders. No rules.
“Oh no, did a Korean person die?” = me on the floor.
I’m going to Grenyanya. And I would totally watch MILF Island.
I’m a Are You Stronger Than A Dog fan myself.

That was so fucking hilarious I laughed for about five minutes straight.
i think 30 rock is by far the funniest show on t.v. at the moment.
especially if last weeks episode of the office was a sign of things to come. i love the us office. but am I the only one who thought the season premiere was dreadful? it almost put me off watching it…everyone seems to have slipped into a pool of smugness…there was something about the performances…like back in the day if this was a live audience show they would all pause to let the crowd applause their intro…i don’t know…i just thought it was shit.
i hope 30 rock gets the ratings its deserves.
First, learn to use the shift key Justin. Second, a great start to the new season. I loved the “You ate 32 pieces of pizza a week?” bit. And the “office wife” role of Kenneth to Tracy. Good stuff. Can’t wait for next week’s episode.
Niiiiiice and subtle plug for Bee Movie, NBC. Halfway through the episode. It’s great.
EDIT: Spoke too soon. And the plugs just kept on coming.
I almost choked to death on a burrito when they listed off the fake TV shows. So good.
Oh, and she called Token “Chocolate Rain!” HA!
The promos for “Seinfeld vision” were awesome.
It’s amazing how much enjoyment I get out of Seinfeld’s ‘acting’. It’s like he hasn’t changed at all.
I loved the pained expression on Jack’s face when Seinfeld asked if they aired ‘Lost.’
“Yeah, right, like you just have four million dollars lying around.”

Didn’t he have around $200 million from syndication rights for Seinfeld? IMDB trivia, don’t fail me now!!!
Oh, and is $4 million all it takes to buy NBC? Does that make any sense?

You’re kidding, right?

As I recall, it’s more like $300 million…and counting. Seinfeld continues to earn big $$$s from syndication and DVD sales. The annoying Bee Movie plugs and Liz’s un-funny Seinfeld impression asside, great episode!
Surely the (deserved) Emmy win will pick up the ratings if not a bit…
“I STILL THINK YOU SHOT A DOLPHIN!”
I had a huge smile through this whole show, just because it was back. How I missed it.
I also loved Baldwin’s response after seeing Jenna.
“She’s either got to lose 30 pounds, or gain 60. She can’t stay like that.”
