I realized the other day, being the TV freak I am, there are so many shows I wish were still on TV.
Mainly, I miss Xena. I don’t care what anybody says, I LOVED this show!
On another thread someone was talking about Jack of All Trades which I enjoyed very much. So many crappy shows on now . . .
Star Trek: The Next Generation
That was me who mentioned Jack Of All Trades. I really wish it was still on. I remember when I fully realized what genius that show was. The episode where they have to rescue Ben Franklin from pirates. It also had one of the best theme songs.

The Ben Stiller Show - B Minus Time Traveler rocks my socks.
Get A Life
VR5 - I thought this show was extremely well layered and that the best stuff was yet to come.
Highlander - I love the flashbacks. There was some good storytelling here.
The Tick - Either live-action or animated.

Freaks and Geeks & Star Trek: the Next Generation. Yeah, those are the two I most wish I had lasted longer on the tube.
The John Henson years of “Talk Soup”. But the actual show is cancelled now, right?
I’d give ANYTHING, ANYTHING to have John Henson back hosting a new version of it.
I’d give up my DVD collection.

Unfortunatly yes. Another great Judd Apatow show that lasted less than a season. I still have my free Undeclared “University of Northeastern California” shirt, which I wore on “College T-Shirt Day” to school, my “UNEC” huge yellow glass, and my Undeclared sound byte cd, featuring the immortal quote:
“If you’re lying to me, I will shank you prison style.” (from the Adam Sandler episode)
Also, that show had the yummy Monica Potter on it in a good role. She needs more work.
Ooh that animated Silver Surfer series that was way over the heads of the Fox Kids audience.

It’s all about The Critic. That show was brilliant and I pisses me off that not only was it cancelled before it could have enough seasons for syndication, but Fox cancelled most likely because it didn’t perform as well as the Simpsons.
I can’t understand people missing shows like Seinfeld, Married…With Children, etc. when these shows are in syndication. I know there are no new episodes, but they had a good run…unlike my beloved Critic…

Vindication!
I mention that scene all the time! I didn’t get it on tape the first time around because I was completely fooled, thinking it was a commercial…until everyone started bleeding through their skin. The transition from happy family gathering to panic and gruesome death was handled perfectly. Chilling, but it reminded me how great TV can be.
