I’m sitting here in a bad situation. The remote is over there, I’m over here. This has happened to us all at some point or another, but almost never has it been as bad as right now. I’m watching “Commited”. And it sucks. Bad. This dreck has inspired me to ask, what are the worst things ever to be shown on T.V.?
This is up there, so I’ll start it off with:
Commited
Whoopy, (or whatever her show was called, that was horrid)
Coupling (U.S. version)
Two Guys and a Girl was pretty bad. I remember laughing at a few of the episodes before they excised the pizza place, but then, I was like 13
I was watching another episode of House (M.D.) tonight, and I came to the conclusion that it is the worst thing I have ever seen on a television. Ever. I’m not exaggerating.
I saw an ad for Law and Order: SVU, with Matthew Modine on it, and he gave one of the most overdramatic line readings I think I’ve ever seen. I like Law and Order, but I haven’t watched SVU that often, and because of Mr. Modine, I don’t think I will be soon.
E.R. has compiled a large amount of shit since its heyday
anything on UPN,
all those crap reality tv shows,
how most of the shit on tv gets a green llght is beyond me…
outside of scrubs and arrested development, try to think of a funny sitcom?

No. Homeboys in Space was Emmy-worthy. Never won though, for some reason.
Local news. I don’t even think I want to really get into how bad my hatred is for the patronizing, idiotic nonsense my local stations spew out. And why do we need literally six hours of local news each day on each station? I can’t even escape by not watching, because the commercials (Yesterday’s: "Are pyschic powers real? A Connecticut psychic medium thinks so. See the proof tonight at eleven." drive me into a frenzied rage. The anchors have no idea what they’re talking about, mis-use words (I’ve written letters to stations explaning what “ironic” means.), think they’re funny, and these idiots are the people we’re trying to learn something from each day? God, it gets me so angry.
