Johnson Auto is North Carolina has these “Badger” ads that are probably the greatest mascot ads to appear in years.
I know this has been on the air for about a year or so, but the Scrubbing Bubbles commercial with the mother-in-law harping and the wife saying “Will it help you forget our address?” absolutely kills me every time. Maybe you have to be married to appreciate it in full…
I got a laugh out of the new one where aliens blow up the earth, and one guy survives because he was in his pickup at the time. Then he & the truck proceed to float off into space…
No offense to Richard Kind, but I’d much rather Al came over to enjoy an On-Cor entree with my family.
Why is Paulie Walnuts shilling for Denny’s? D:
Something I never, ever want to see again: Donkey Lips dancing around with jumper cables clamped to his nipples.
The only Super Bowl commercial that I consider fantastic was the Dorito ad where the 6ft tall guy in the rat outfit crashes through a wall and beats the crap out of the guy who is eating a Dorito chip. That was good.
The Etrade baby ads was also good.
The Fed-ex pigeons one was pretty good and the Pepsi Max got a chuckle. The only Bud commerical I liked was the fire one. Overall, definitely a lame year for “Super” commercials.
I liked the screaming squirrel Bridgestone ad. I don’t know why.
I think the overtly racist “get 100 free sales leads!” ads deserve a special mention, too.
I forgot the squirrel one. Cute. By the way, thanks for reminding me about the Amp commercial. I thought I had expunged it from my memory.

Yeah, no shit. I suspected something when they showed the first one with the Middle Eastern man, but it became hilariously obvious with the panda commercial. I fully expected to see a Minstrel Show for their finale.

Those ads were awful. They sort of reminded me of an ad that Michael Scott would have created thinking it was “funny”.
I first thought this was an ad for a horror flick…
Looks like Toyota is undertaking a noble cause and promoting green energy. I wonder if they’ll sell more Prius’ as a result, haha.

Oh, God, yes. I’ve only seen it once, but the image is burned into my brain. The horror…
They named a birth control pill after Carl Yastrzemski?

I have a hard time taking anything written by a guy named Alan Poon seriously.
The Most Annoying Woman in the World walking around and giving five reasons she has to raise her arms, thanks to Secret Double Fresh deodorant or something.
This commercial needs to end.
Has anyone seen the Neil Patrick Harris / Doogie Houser / Old Spice commercial?
Fantastic.
