I’m not really good with ep titles, but some of my favorites include the WW you mentioned and:
Millennium: “Lamentation”
ER: The conclusion to the Omar Epps storyline. At least I think it was him. If you’ve seen it you know.
Also, there was one where Greene was trying to deliver a baby and there were… complications.
The first two are both shockers-you’re left reeling afterwards. The reason I’m putting them with “best hours” is that I felt each episode lead up to the ending in a good way.
Any number of Sopranos episodes could be on this list.
The ER episode when Lucy Knight is killed and Carter is stabbed in the back with the knife was pretty compelling.

Who Shot JR? - Dallas
The episode that pretty much invented the Cliffhanger in dramatic television.
Too many to name, but most recently the season finale of this season’s Six Feet Under blew me away. I’ve watched it three times already.
I’ll put my vote in for the ER episode where George Clooney saves that boy trapped in the sewer drain. The episode is called “Hell and High Water”.

I thought the episode would be bad, but it ended up fairly good.

Uhm, I remember digging the pilot for The Shield quite a bit, hrmmm… I really have to stop putting off queuing Homicide and the West Wing up on Netflix, I always put it off.
How can you possible pick just one.
The Body(Buffy) and A Hole in the World(Angel) are 2 great episodes. The Shield best is when Acevada gets violated. I’m a bit biased towards Buffy/Angel/The Sheield and a few others.
That “Night Gallery” where the guy axe-murders his wife & her lover, then buries them under the shed.
He’s watching TV that night, and every channel is showing the interior of that shed.
You know what happens next - a hand reaches out of the ground, scrabbling for purchase.
I watched that episode 30 years ago and it still creeps me out.

Yes!
Dunno if it qualifies, but the season 2 finale of Alias was pretty awesome IMO.
Second to last episode in Six Feet Under: Season Two.
