Still pissed off about the Australian version. All that’s known is that they’re changing a couple of scenes with anal probing, but I just don’t trust our Government to leave it there. An ominous-sounding ‘Low Violence Version’ is up for pre-order on Steam here, so I’m half-expecting more cuts. Therefore, I’m half-expecting to get someone to gift me the US version.
AI don’t know man. I’d look forward to the build were you shoot puppies at evil like a carebear, take the absurdity just a notch higher. Or feline air strikes that rain down kitten ragdolls.
You see, that I can get behind. It’s just that knowing the history of these things, it’s just going to be a clusterfuck of snipped animations and disappearing enemies. I actually bought the Aussie version of Left 4 Dead 2: trust me, it wasn’t pretty.

That’s just kind of sad that your ratings system is a clusterfuck of lame. It’s one of the annoying things that have to be done when making the german build of games is pouring over every minute detail so it appeases their boards…at some point we’ll probably have to do the same with Aus if they keep this up.
Boss Voices:
Bloke Boss
i) Troy Baker
ii) Cockney Boss
iii) Not sure yet
Lady Boss
i) Laura Bailey
ii) FRENCH BOSS
iii) Southern Belle Boss
Bonus comedy gimmick boss: Nolan North, as himself.
Supposedly listed in the credits:
Rowdy. Roddy. Piper.
That’s right, this is practically THEY LIVE 2: THEY LIVE HARDER
And Stan Bush’s ‘The Touch’ is on the soundtrack.

Alright, dammit! I was already going to buy it! Buying it twice doesn’t do me any good!
So, I was already going to get this game. I saw in Sentinel’s post that The Touch is on the soundtrack, and I thought I’d even put up with the censored version if it meant playing it.
And then I clicked the spoiler tag…
Yeah, hopefully GTA5 can bring back the fun, but I know this one will deliver. I’m counting down the days.
I forgot to say, it also has romances and loyalty missions, it’s totes riffing on/ripping the piss out of Mass Effect 2.
However, you cannot romance Keith David
That being the case, any score must deduct 2 points on general fucking principle.
You see, there they missed the opportunity of having a Mass Effect-ribbing extended love scene in the form of a ten-minute alley fistfight.
AFourteen hours into my Saints Row The Third Catch-Up (it got its hooks into me and it turned into a long play session). I’m hoping the three female boss voices listed by Sentinel Red, above, aren’t the extent of it, because I’ve already grown attached to the hilarious Eastern European female voice as “my” voice.
RUSSIAN BOSS NEVER FORGET.
I hear you, man. She was marvellous. I especially loved her confession at the end, far better than any of the other bosses. But yes, the only returning VAs are Bloke Boss 3 (he’s done every game in the series), and Troy Baker, Laura Bailey and Robin Atkin Downes from SR3. No Russian or Latina bosses this time round, alas.
This really is one series where the only DLC they need to offer is different VA packs. Imagine a Matt Berry boss, or a Jessica Walter boss, it would be AMAZING.
ADid you do the DLC mission where you’re shooting scenes for “Gangstas in Space?” Russian Boss’s shatneresque line deliveries are amazing.
No he hasn’t. SR1 had white dude, black dude, hispanic dude. And they switched VAs for Bloke Boss between 2 and 3.
Terry Motherfucking Crews IS Benjamin Motherfucking King.
Game of the Motherfucking Year.
The Inauguration Station character creator is available on Steam, and possibly the 360 and PS3 too. Download it, customise away and FEEL BOSS.
The first mission of the game, where the BOSS, Shaundi, and Pierce meet up with a new operative to stop a nuke from hitting Washington D.C.
The end result…is a thing of fucking beauty.

Embargoed till the 14th, but able to exercise best judgement on a few things.
I’m maybe 4 hours in. It’s definitely the best open world superhero game I’ve ever played. It’s maybe the weakest Saints Row.
Also, I don’t know if the feature isn’t activated or what, and that wouldn’t be surprising (Trophies are unlocking, but I can’t see them in my list) but importing characters is still not happening for me. Someone should’ve called Bioware.
