The McRib (2022): Pre-Release

The one damn thing that not even COVID-19 could cancel is the McRib. It’s back (from what I understand), and although it might not inoculate us from Coronavirus, it will certainly inoculate you from having what’s considered a healthy diet.

So let’s celebrate the return of the McRib and how its changed each and every one of our lives for the better!

Or we can yap about our favorite guilty pleasures from fast food restaurants. Either/or!

It’s 2020, the Year of Judgement. It’s only natural that the McRib should arise from its sunken city to terrorize the world of men once more.

We didn’t need a pre release thread. McRibs look the same pre- and post-release. They should just make the buns look like a diaper..

What manner of beast is a McRib derived from anyway? They had these every so often at our school cafeteria for lunch and they didnt even bullshit because they called them Anony-meat sandwiches.

Trump was the McRib of US presidents.

McDonald’s tried hot dogs once. Those mightve been worse.

Either that or Taco Bell breakfast..

Taco Bell breakfast wasn’t bad, as I recall.

Let’s hope not.

For real? It LOOKED…painful. But, then again…i was too chickenshit to try it.

And i ate a CANNED hamburger from a vending machine in Japan once. */***** Do not recommend..

I’ve never tried the McRib before. However, a month ago I had my very first Big Mac and it had to be the most underwhelming burger I’ve ever had in fast food.

Thank God I live in Cali to enjoy In-N-Out.

I had it once or twice in a pinch. I rarely eat fast food anymore so I’m probably not the best person to ask.

I just remember the McRib being an abomination before God.

yeah, I was never keen on McDonald’s burgers. Their fries were beyond compare, though.

Burgers, I opt for Five Guys, Culver’s, Smash Burger, Lion’s Tap (local place), or Shake Shack. Again, though…I rarely eat fast food anymore.

Bruh, Shake Shack is top-shelf fast food. Crinkle cut fries? The best.

The Shake Shack burgers are pretty damned good, yeah. When I do have a craving for fast food, they’re near the top of the list.

Back when I had a commute, I ate my feelings at Shake Shack on many occasions.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a mcrib

No time like the present!

I wanted a McRib way back in the early 1980s, and for my sins they gave me one. Brought it out to my car like delivery. It was a real choice McRib, and after it was over, I would never want another.

Spam smothered in BBQ sauce.

Basically, get a good quality hot dog and ladle BBQ sauce on it, and you’ll have something 100x better than McRib.

Many, many years ago, my stomach staged an open rebellion, and I lost permission to eat at McDonald’s or Taco Bell.

The best fast food on Earth is Oporto (Always fresh-made grilled chicken sandwiches with chili sauce, from Australia). I was overjoyed when I learned it was coming to the US, then destitute to find that it only made it as far as L.A. and failed.

Everything else is just filler because I don’t have time for real food.

I see that there are some McRib detractors, and as Mr. Rogers would say, “That’s okay.”

You could put that McDonald’s barbecue sauce on plutonium, and I’d eat it.
