Well, as I said in the Dark Knight pre-release thread, that design is a bit shit. I’m not into it at all.
P.S., I have no good excuse for not going out tonight, none whatsoever.

Looks just as grainy as that fake a month or so back…reserving judgement for now.
Oh, and I’m in tonight because I’m visiting family in a faraway lame place.

Well it looks “grainy” because the photo isn’t fully revealed yet on the site so they helped it along.

I think it looks creepy. I don’t get why fans (who admittedly aren’t a single entity, no matter how much they resemble it at times) clamor for grittiness and realism in their comic properties and then complain when something isn’t a facsimile of the comic book. I was no fan of Batman Begins, but if the Joker looks anything like that, with the smeared psycho lipstick and the grizzly scar, I’ll be impressed… and surprised if the internet community’s reaction isn’t generally positive.
Looks like a shot from the cover of one of those dime a dozen DTV serial killer flicks. Only with Heath Ledger.
i think the pic looks pretty fucked up and creepy. no complaints here thus far.
It looks creepy to me - but fuck the makeup - the real concern is the acting…I think Ledger may be able to pull it off.
This is the first Joker who actually gave me the creeps.
You gotta be a grade A hater not to think that is pretty bad ass, lets not forget thats just a close up picture of his face, nothing more.
