Ugh, I hated that whole plot. It was just too dumb.

U2 at the post 9/11 Superbowl.
Michael Phelps winning his medals.

‘24’ moments:
Jack explaining how he’s going to use a towel
Terry Bauer’s death
‘I need a hacksaw’
‘No you don’t’ BLAM
The assassination of David Palmer
The mini-‘RoboCop’ reunion
‘Let’s Play Darts!’

“Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?”

Hell, it was so short lived, you could just about list the entire Chappelle’s Show run.

You beautiful beautiful man

One could go on and on for The Wire, I’ll limit it to one per season:

  1. “Believe it or not, not everything is about you.”
  2. “We used to make shit in this country, build shit.”
  3. Like a Hieronymous Bosch painting of hell
  4. “You gonna look out for me, Sgt. Carver? You mean it?”
  5. McNulty gets profiled

Vic’s confession has already been mentioned, but two other moments from The Shield that stick with me are both meltdowns; Vic and Kavanaugh.

The Kavanaugh meltdown is top notch. He comes off as a total raving lunatic but EVERYTHING he says is 100% correct (he’s like Cassandra in Greek mythology) and the Chief is setting up such a tragic series of events by not listening.

Someone mentioned the Battlestar “Adama maneuver” which is certainly great, but I’d also put forward for your consideration the Battle of the Resurrection Ship.

Ok, so the turn this thread took should’ve signified that people were just wildly posting spoilers. But still…

Fuck. You.

You could’ve put a warning around that shit.

It does not mean what you think it means

Well thank christ for that. I about had a heart attack at the sheer casualness of that spoiler.

Show ended almost two years ago.

The Dean’s "Eye of the Tiger " scene at the end of the Yellow Fever episode of Supernatural.

Why would you come into this thread if you were worried about spoilers?

Come off it, the whole thread is full of spoilers for season finales of a lot of shows. I haven’t seen any of The Shield and now I know what happens at the end to all of the characters, I know should have quit the thread once I saw a couple but I didn’t.

And it’s most definitely not what you think it is.

24: “it’s just a flesh wound!”

It’s called “The Greatest tv moments of the decade”, how in the fuck could you not go into “spoilers”?

Get the fuck out of here.
