The Quantum Leap episode where Sam jumps into a black vietnam vets body and Al is on his case about keeping a photographer alive because it is revealed in the end that if she stayed alive they would have rescued Al in his vietnam stint and his wife would have known he was alive as a POW and wouldnt have remarried.
That was damn good TV.
Damn, beat me to the Batman:TAS. Then I’ll add for Batman: the whole damn series. I remember, remember whole episodes from my childhood, that stuff stuck with me so well.
The end of MST3K. Perhaps my favorite TV show of all time. A good ending, a sad ending, an MST3K ending.
The Shield. The end of the first season, Vic, alone is his torn up house. Powerful performance by Chiklas.
24 - Season 2. I WANT to say the kick off the wall neck snap of the last episode, but I’ll go with the end of the very first. Shoots the guy in the heart, asks for a hacksaw. Bauer was back, baby. After a kinda boring first 48 min., I knew it was gonna be good.
Angel - the last episode. I totally dug the show and loved the final season. But this episode…helluva ending. I was completely satisfied and still occasionally dwell on it from time to time.
Futurama - 2 episodes in particular and one line. The time episode where Fry writes his love across the stars. Sadness. The final episode. Very bittersweet. Not their funniest, but an excellent ending to the series. And the line. The second Robo Santa episode. “I’m Robo Santa!” “I’m Robo Santa!” “I’m Robo Santa!” “And I’m his friend Jesus!” Oh God. We still quote that line endlessly.
Band of Brothers - I love the entire series, but two parts in particular. The second episode where they take out the 3 artillery guns. Rivetting, movie calibur action. And the episode, “Why We Fight.” Some of the most powerful TV I’ve ever seen.
And one final one. Late Night with Conan O’Brien. I love Conan. I hated it when Andy left. But by far, my favoritist moment on Conan were the Jesus sports statues. I believe I laughed so hard I began to bleed internally. The Walker lever is grand and it’s hard to beat Celebritiy Secrets, but the Jesus statues will always own me.

I mentioned this in another TV thread, but on ER, when Omar Epps’ character died . A body is brought in, completely fucked up, nobody is expecting to be able to do anything. They page dr. “Epps”. The first time nobody picks up on the fact that the pager went off in the room. The second time, everybody stops, realises who it is and desperately gets to work. I get goosebumps writing it.
Also, I just want to throw this in there, out of competition:
