Too early or not, this thread is how I found out that Supernatural got another season, so I’m so happy I could kiss you.

Time for a bump. Season three kicks off this Thursday.
The show has done an excellent job of raising the stakes over the last two seasons, and the boys’ new mission continues that while allowing them to still do the stand-alone episodes that make this show underrated and awesome. Very excited.
(And I’m still hoping we’ll get to hear “Layla” at some point…)

Anyone and everyone over at Smallville should take a gander at how Supernatural handles stand-alone episodes and the on-going storyline.
Good first episode of the season. Daredevil Dean should be lots of fun!

What was with the funky editing for that fight scene with the girl?
Wasn’t bad. I’m still undecided on the chicks that are being added to the show though. Not enough to decide so far, but the “saving the heroes” introduction wasn’t too annoying.
Hells Bells got me PUMPED for the show. I had lost that Supernatural amp until that. I really got into the episode when they made the husband drink that shit. I didn’t see that coming, that’s got to be one of the nastiest deaths I’ve seen on tv for a while.
I just pray the chick doesn’t turn out to be that cocky supergirl character that all of these damn tv action actresses turn into.
I thought it was a good opener for the season. Also, found a TV Guide interview with Kripke. The bad news, they’re shying away from the creature fx. The good news, more Jim Beaver.
I missed this last night, as I was over a friend’s watching his 30 second performance on Law and Order. Greatest 30 seconds ever.

GREAT opener. I’ll miss the old flame credits from Season 2, but it’s all good. Was there something different about the look of the show to anyone else? Something seemed different (better?), but I couldn’t put my finger on it…

For the record, I continue to be amazed at the level of violence that this show gets away with. The scene in which the Envy-touched girl smashes the other girl’s head into the windshield was brutal. Awesomeness.
