Will get on it soon enough.

I’m two episodes in and can easily see getting sucked in and bingeing it soon.

Just finished S3/E5. I love a good siege episode. Damn this show rocks.

I can feel the withdrawal creeping up already so I may just cave and read SPOOK STREET before S4 airs.

Just watched 3x05 myself - what a fantastic hour of TV.

“What the fuck was that?!”

I have a bad feeling about Marcus after his comment about Duffy, w/ the latter taking that extra step in this episode.

Great show and Rosalind Eleazar is a smoke show. That is all.

Three episodes in and I’m completely hooked.

Glad you’re enjoying the show. Several new converts, thanks to NZ in the other thread who first started singing its praises.

“Much as I love the idea of you going all Isla, She Wolf of the SS on him, he’s Russian and he might not crack.”

She’s a very appealing actress. And she’s got some good zingers.

Haven’t encountered her yet but I’m ready for Kristin Scott Thomas to rendition me anyway she wants.

Great episode this week. Really enjoyed the reveal of Taverner’s maneuverings this episode and her exasperated sigh when she hears the news from Tearney “Ugh, so now I’m relying on the Slow Horses to save me?”

Just finished up the first season. I’m definitely in for the rest.

Not a huge fan of the lingering backstory with Lamb and Standish. It feels unnecessary; other than Cartwright’s muck up (which wasn’t what we initially thought), everyone else’s backstory is either implied or dealt with in a few sentences, which has worked. That said, Oldman is doing next level work in this show.

A certain character should’ve definitively died and decidedly let remain dead. That character possibly being alive feels tonally at odds with the rest of the show.

Those quibbles aside, I’m ready to declare this one of the best shows of the 2020s, and it’s easily in contention for top shows of the century (thus far).

This is the Louisa character, Michael. And I fully agree, she’s fine.

Michael who did you think needed a definitive death? The hostage?

I think he meant the most high profile (at least stateside) Slough House team member. Weird how it’s never been addressed in subsequent seasons.

Slough House will have to wait, that person has their hands full right now trying to fulfil a prophecy.

Looks like the season finale is next Weds. Gonna start digging into S3 now.

***Sort of Spoilers I guess***

I’ve only read the first novel in the series but Sid’s fate was also ambiguous from what I recall. I don’t know if she comes back in a later novel.

Thanks, it’s cool to see they’re being faithful to the source material. Though I’m pretty much along for the ride no matter what happens.
