Rocksteady Returns - Batman: Arkham Knight

Finally a game that might make me get a PS4 or X-Box One. So glad to see Rocksteady back, and really hope they can end this series with a bang. Driving the Batmobile and the return of the Scarecrow is a great start.

Yeah the posts started in the PS4 thread, but thought for one thread for gameplay, regardless of system.

I’ve been waiting since Asylum to drive the Batmobile. It’s about damn time!

I’ll be there, Asylum and City were loads of fun to play. I’ve been holding off on getting Origins cause I’m waiting for a price drop (reviews and general opinions have kept that one on the backburner for me).

Don’t disappoint me, Rocksteady!

I wasn’t particularly moved either way by Origins. It wasn’t has poor as I’d read, nor was it as good as I’d hoped. It’s story was it’s best feature. If it had been released as DLC (al a Rockstar) it would have been hailed as a brilliant expansion.

I am poor so it will be years before I play this installment. I’m dying to see what it looks like in action. Rocksteady need to reinvent the wheel a bit here.

APause it at 1:01 - I now want to see Peter Dinklage as The Batman.

So the title Arkham Knight refers to a brand new villain they’ve crafted for this installment, which makes the title a little less forced (I guess). They’ve also confirmed that Kevin Conroy is back.

AIt’s weird that Thomas Wayne’s will is worded as though he expected to die while Bruce was young.

And Joker’s really the Arkham Knight, right?

Also, he if he dies, he plans on taking Martha with him.

I’ve heard several wills sadly and some of them are worded like that.

I’ve heard several things, sadly possibly.

Looks like they’re going to really focus on the single player aspect. Awesome for those lonely nights when I’m not fighting crime.

Im more worried about this Arkham Knight being created/designed by Geoff Johns, actually.

As if this wasn’t already going to get my $60 on Day 1. If only I could find some way to pay harder.

AMy friend Abe Lincoln told me to hit up the theater, with my wife Martha. Douchebag isn’t returning my calls, but I might hit up this Zorro flick.

Thinking of taking my kid, but he gets traumatized way too easily.

I have to say, I’m hating the shit out of those ears on the bat symbol.

You mean Batlash Begins? It looks like the symbol if Disney got to design it.

Yeah that’s really weird. Is it definitely not just odd lighting?

No backlash from me, but that screenshot looks… familiar. I’d love to see a night and day cycle in this.

AWhat unlockable costumes are left?

You have to ask?

You have to ask?

Been there, done that.

I’m still trying to figure out why they didn’t use skins from The Dark Knight trilogy. They would’ve been goldmines, even for people who choose to ignore DLC.
