After that intense, sometimes heart-breaking season of The Shield, it’ll be good to have some comedy in my life.
I love the trailer for the new season. What is the count of Tommys family is it 3 brothers and two sisters?
I know there was Johnny and Timo Gavin. Timo hasn’t been seen since season two I think. Maggie Gavin is his sister. Father Mickey is his cousin isn’t he? And so is that lawyer that helped him with his kids.
But yeah, I can’t wait for this to start. It’s been too long. Any word on when season three hits DVD?

It came out this week actually.
Timo was actually brought in as a stand in for Dean Winters, who was off shooting a pilot I believe mid-season (although with Johnny now being extinct, a Timo return might be in the cards).
He wasn’t even at the funereal! Those Gavins… they really hate each other.
Season 3 just came out last Tuesday.
Man I’ve missed this show, can’t wait. Just set my season recording in case I’m out when it’s on.
Tonight!! I was watching a preview of the show and Denis Leary talked about how realistic the firefighting scenes are going to look this season. I guess they did it all in one take without any editing. The guy who plays Franco also said “Don’t get too attached with any of the characters”.
Yeah, I was listening to the Denis Leary interview on NPR’s “Fresh Air”, and he was really excited about the one takes they use, especially in the first episode. He mentioned “Children of Men” a couple of times, and about how great that movie and Cuaron’s long takes were.

At last, another appointment tv show for Wednesdays. I shall not be missing this. Just marthoned the entire 3 seasons in about 4 days, man, that was awesome.
