This Halleluah-cination thing of Tommy’s is starting to get a bit freaky.
The miscarriage was an interesting twist. I wasn’t sure if they were going to play the baby thing out all the way till birth or if they were going to do something like this. I was waiting for Sully’s secrets to come out (pun intended) because it was obvious that he was TOO perfect to last.
Franco’s growing vicodin addiction is starting to build up also. I liked his conversation with Tommy.
Finally, Mike’s obsession with the fat chick is starting to get scary. The gun thing probably means its all going to end badly for him.
The Jesus stuff is getting weird. I like how they’re going with that instead of the “ghosts,” psychosis should have some variety. I knew they were going to find a “creative” way to get rid of Sully, especially since Tergensen is going to be on that “Wanted” show that’s coming on soon. But once again I want to know where Uncle Teddy is. I’m worried for the guy.

The preview for next week shows him in a bunch of different scenes. I’m guessing he doesn’t go through with it or he at least doesn’t shoot anyone. I could be wrong, though.

yeah, I thought that the preview for next week spoiled it. I’m guessing he doesn’t do anything. I hope not. He’s a fun oaf-of-a-character to have around.
Didn’t like that “the girl” slept with Franco. Was hoping she would hold out and resist temptation. Oh well, makes things even more complicated.
Finally some resolution for Uncle Teddy. I’m glad he didn’t end up dead in a dumpster. Tommy’s speech to the AA meeting was classic. The shots at Steven Seagal were not appreciated but I laughed when they were arguing about whether Hillary Swank could beat up her husband.
Who else is going to try and work “twunt” into a conversation tomorrow?
Charles Durning seeing Teddy on the cover of that magazine was classic! I gave many a chuckle. The flash Tommy got of life back off the horse out in front of the liquor store was jarring.
Sheila’s charade with the miscarriage isn’t going to end pretty. That’s some scary shit. I love this friggin show.
I am actually a little shocked at how fucked up EVERYONE is on this show. So many problems with all the characters. Everything is building slowly too. Each character is getting his/her story built one block at a time.
Franco is definitely going to face a drug issue soon.
But I agree that Sheila’s issue is getting kind of scary. The idea of eating to gain weight to fool others about the continuation of her pregnancy is pretty crazy. I too don’t see this ending well for her.
Jesus christ…he could be a great character in this show!
Tommy’s daughter coming back…that can only mean more headaches for tommy. Oh yea, his daughter got hotter too.
There is just nothing bad you can say about a show that has Jesus driving a Lamborghini. The sensitivity training stuff was also good, particularly the cheesy video they were watching. Getting blown by a she-male was another classic Uncle Teddy moment.

Another solid episode. I still haven’t made up my mind how I feel about all the seeing Jesus/Mary stuff, but Franco’s drug problem is in full swing, and the twist with Leary learning about the pregnancy situation was interesting…I wonder how that will affect who he stays with.

From my memory- tommy goes nuts when the doc tells him she’s not pregnant. he goes to steal his kids, not sure if he does. the little girl appears to take vicadin.

This was a great episode. It was one of the funniest in recent times. I love how Uncle Teddy is just permanently parked in front of the billboard just hanging out. I loved the Gavin brother’s confrontation of their dad over his affair. I really enjoyed all the storylines going on throughout this season so far. Oh yea, seeing the chief’s wife in bed with another guy was a pretty strong scene, and also his reaction to her lucidity over seeing her son, but she can’t remember her husband at all. All very well done.
This Jesus thing is getting weirder and weirder though, but its so damn funny and entertaining.
i just recently watched all the episodes for this show over the weekend and i love it to death. leary own’s this character. the scene where tommy told sean that he look’s like the marlboro man but smoking cock instead of cig’s was fucking awesome. then he turned around and freaked out on laura about giving head or making him a sandwhich. some classic shit. all the stuff with his family are great as well. this show has a lot of great recurring characters, mainly his dad, teddy and johnny. what does tommy have a family member in every profession of new york city? dean winters as leary’s brother is total genius casting.
My gut reaction is that that was maybe the best show they have done. A lot of great scenes between all sorts of characters. The scene with Tommy and his cousin was outstanding, and then they went right into the brutal exchange between Tommy and Sheila. Having no Uncle Teddy didn’t really hurt the comedic aspects of the show either. The stuff about the bone marrow was a riot. “Enjoy the marrow, asshole!” I also laughed pretty hard at Tommy getting thrown out of the apartment.
