Hmmmm…I just read an interview with Lidelof where he says that they’re going to reveal what’s in the hatch right away, rather than drag it out, seeing as it was a 13 episode gap from when they found the hatch until they opened it. Could be interesting. He also mentioned that you’ll know by the end of Season 2 why the plane crashes.
If anyone is interested, I’ve compiled a list of stuff. Like promos and stuff from the airlines webstie. I did this for a couple of other forums I frequent.

I thought everyone might be interested with some recent information and ads. I’ve compiled a list of all of this for everyone. Enjoy!!
First up is the first three titles of the first three episodes. This is from an annual letter from the writers of Lost.

Even though production has only just begun on the sandy shores of O’ahu (as well as the lush jungles of O’ahu, and the mysterious soundstages of O’ahu), the writers’ room has been working overtime for several months to turn the overarching visions of the show’s creators into episodic teleplays.
The writers’ room is one of the main hubs of creative activity on Lost. To anyone on the outside it probably looks like an ordinary conference room, albeit one festooned with white boards and memorabilia.
One wall, for example is decorated with head shots of the cast. Another features the “Lost Survivors Count” where we keep a running track of the characters who have died on the series. Others are decorated with maps and posters of islands and beaches to keep us in the tropical mood (not a lot of white sand and clear water in sunny downtown Burbank – but then again, not a lot of invisible monsters either).
But the nexus of the writers’ room are the four massive white boards that span the length of the space. On these boards, we plot out not only the broad strokes of the entire year, but also the individual episodes, down to acts, scenes and beats, in an exhaustive process designed to bring the best out of every idea.
Several scripts have already been completed and are in the pre-production process, with many more in the pipeline. To give you a taste, here is an exclusive glance at the titles and writers of our first three episodes:

Click “Pre Board Check In” The name Ethan Rom will pop up with boxes under it
drag the letters to spell “Other Man” and you will see another trailer.
Seats that can be clicked: Any seat in row 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.
Seats that show up: Pace, Charlie. 29C, Carlyle, Boone. 9E, Sheppard, Jack. 23A, Mars, Edward. 27G (The Marshal), Locke, John. 24D, Rutherford, Shannon, 9F.
Once these seats are highlighted, you can click on them to view short clips and montages. Clicking on Edward Mars’s seat will highlight Kate’s (Ryan,Kate 27H). Also, if you click on Jack’s seat twice, the seating chart number will flicker from 815 to 777. If you click it three times Rose’s seat will pop up (Rose 37D). When You click on Shannon’s Seat Sayid’s passport shows up. If you click on Shannon’s seat again, after Sayid’s passport pops up, Danielle’s map shows up once highlighted.

I can’t remember how it’s done, but if you fiddle around with it you can click Ana’s seat (At the back of the Plane) and it shows a little animation where the Plane shakes around and the back of it breaks off. Then there’s some Plane crash footage and you hear Locke shouting “We’re not the only ones on this Island and you all know it!”.

I agree, mysteries are the most enjoyable before you figure them out, but still, I dont think the “mystery” should be whats in the hatch.
It should be the greater, larger mysteries that remain unknown.
Stuff like the hatch should open up the mystery or evolve it. My only problem was they should have gone inside the hatch, and then cut.
Question: is The Fury coming back this season?
Because I’d hate to think Lost lost (nyuk) its best writer to a shitty show that was canned before it even aired any of the episodes he wrote.
Isn’t fury gone already? Wasn’t he going to take over/produce some other show?

Hmm. I see with a google search that he is indeed involved in 24 this coming year. I may actually have to watch that show now. There’s also talk of him creating his own show. That, I’d like to see.
Can’t help but think that Lost is really going to go into the toilet without him. My only hope is that last season’s unevenness was caused by the producers’ belief that the show was going to be cancelled quickly, and their sudden surprise that they had to finish the season; now that they’ve had a summer to marinate in their success, maybe they’ll come back with a plan.

I remember there also being something you can highlight/click on to get a page of the script describing the monster. Anyone remember how to get to it?
I’ll be able to find that page online once I get to work tonight and have the time.
But if it’s the one that I’m thinking of, wasn’t it a hoax?
It’s a fake script page, I believe, but still interesting. I have a friend who has never seen these easter eggs and I can’t for the life of me remember how to get to that.
Holy crap. I just saw the 1-min clip with no sound. What the hell is at the bottom of the shaft? We know from the clip that it’s obviously something technological. Where did the light come from?

Thanks! Although it is most likely a fake script, the description of the moster is pretty similar to what actually aired.
