Somebody who is media savvy takes press coverage and turns it to their advantage (see- Paris Hilton). Lohan has done the complete opposite. Her behavior has effectively sunk a promising career.
She comes from an insanely fucked up family and has been processed through the Disney machine. I think she’s legitimately fucked up. She’s starved for love and has a tendency to self destruct. In other words, a classic addict.
It’s unfortunate, since I remember her being pretty once. Still, her body to ruin I guess.

I’m calling shenanigans on that first photo. If you look at all the other photos from that night she looks pretty normal. I’m sure she could stand to put on a couple pounds but that’s just an awful photo more than anything.
