June 1st is that arbitrary date given when they have no idea when it will be out, just that it will be released within the calendar year.
My guess now is late Summer, early Fall.
Jacob, the wait for Half Life 2 could be even longer.
I have no problem with this wait. If it holds true it’s certainly better than waiting 'til Christmas. Besides, I still need to beat the first game.

You are not the only one. It was the first game I bought and I still haven’t finished it, though billylove and I finished it together in co-op.
I’d wait for the GM, before expecting anything. Otherwise, your just asking for dissapointment.

It does, I couldn’t validate the $200 price difference for the small performance difference (assuming you’re referring to the 256 meg 9800xt). If you aren’t talking about the 9800xt, I think the 9600xt is actually superior to the other 9800 cards and can be had for ~$180 shipping included.
