The music videos in particular were probably 2 of the best they’ve ever done.
So good. Certainly my fave ep of the season.
Gondry was probably the reason Bret was making gloves that looked like hands.
That was Kate Warner from the second season of 24.
I assume that there’s no stereotype that Australians are extremely dirty, and that that was just thrown in there for good measure.
Awwwwwww Jemaine got a rejected form.
Gondry and this show were made for each other.
By far the best of the seasons. Too Many Dicks On The Dance Floor was an incredible song, and who here wouldn’t mind being robbed by a cute Aussie?
Gondry directed? No wonder this was my favorite episode yet. Loved every minute of it, but particularly Jemaine’s girlfriend song. The lyrics plus visuals were just amazing.

In this past ep, the ongoing back and forth of Bret saying “She may have subtly mocked Jemaine’s accent” and Jemaine repeating “She may have mocked my accent subtly” just got me every time.
I loved how he carefully navigates through the hanging beads when he’s trying to escape from Keitha’s apartment. What a great episode.

It warms my heart that the message of Interracial Hole-Stretchers 2 managed to penetrate Dave’s icy exterior.
I’m glad they left Mel out this week. I’d like her character more if it didn’t push the same joke over and over.

If anything, between this and ‘The Tough Bretts’, the show has done more to educate the world that NZ is NOT a part of Australia than . . . well . . . uh . . . anything, really.
I died when Brett mentions that, the first time they met, Jemaine tried to have him deported to Australia because he was wearing a vest.
That was a pretty damned good episode too. Bret trying to be Jemaine and Jemaine trying to be Bret ("yeah sometimes I glue it on, when I’m in a hurry"
was gold. These last two have been leagues better than the rest of the season.
That was one of my top 3 episodes. Had me laughing to the point of tears during the concert at the end.
As soon as “This is the remix!” and the strobe lights came on, that was it. Damn near blacked out from laughing.
Murray running the powerpoint presentation from the wings was also funny.
I’m a little behind, and only watched “Unnatural Love” last night…but what a killer episode! For some reason, Murray opining the fate of Jemaine and Keitha’s children being forced to “move from city to city, searching for the perfect wave” completely slayed me.
I didn’t think this episode was great, but I liked Wiig. It just seemed that they tweaked the characters too much or something. Maybe I’ll dig more on the re-watch.
I think the epilepsy song might be my favorite song bit ever. The remix just made the episode ten times better.
