Thanks! Basically every other show I watch has been canceled or is off the air until January, so this is welcome. I hope a lot more people discover Conchords this season.

Not really a knockout episode, but any Conchords is a good, good thing.
And Brett’s woven pants were fantastic.
Good episode, but no where near the quality of anything last season. Hope next episode is better. Best bit was Jermaine’s cut out jacket.

Weak first episode.
To anyone who may be interested, my friend singer-songwriter James Eric has an ongoing project where he’ll be covering Flight of the Conchords songs. I believe he’s going to be covering new songs as the appear on the show.
So, as a songwriter your friend’s project is to sing songs written by two other people, something that is done enough on youtube.
Creative.
The songs were only ok but I didn’t really see much decline in quality for the rest of it. The toothpaste plot is basically a reworked version of the Whamby storyline from the radio series, and isn’t nearly as good, but that’s only noticable to people who’ve heard it of course.
