I’m glad that Larry got some kind of closure with his ex-lover. Both him and Cliff learned that it was time to move on.
“The butts are loose!”
Well I certainly wasn’t expecting that.

Should have used this. Might have been too on the nose, but it was clearly what they were going for, and this show is basically just, fuck it, why not? Lets throw some butt monsters in there too.
The whole Ant Farm felt very influenced by Terry Gilliam. Including the butts which could have been a Monty Python throwaway animated interlude.
At this point I have utter faith that they’re going to stick the landing on the season.
So did the butts devour the Ant Farm? I don’t care why Larry is conscious without the Negative Spirit, it must be the lighting down there.
Man I don’t know how I feel now that the show has lurched into something really awful happening not in the past, but right now: Vic killing his father. Was that too heavy for this show?
Anyway every single decision made in the current Marvel/DC superhero boom has been leading up to next week: live action Flex Mentallo.
Flex was great, I hope he sticks around on the show.
And holy shit, Ed Asner!
The only problem with being caught up with the show is now I have to wait for episodes.

Not only that, the Snap was so powerful that it traveled past the MCU and killed Flex’s wife.
Holy shit, Cliff’s guest spot on Secret Hearts.
I have a theory that we shouldn’t take Rita’s confession at face value. That she can recognize a performance when she sees one.
Been catching up and just finished he ep at the Ant Farm. Man this show’s doing my head in, the emotional whiplash is insane. Every episode feel more rad and inventive than the last. I really hope they nail the landing.
OMG this latest episode. I had to pause it at one point because I was laughing so hard. You’ll know the scene I’m talking about.
Poor Cliff. He gets left out on all the fun stuff.
I’m not really sure if Beard Hunter ending up on Danny the Street really gels with his last appearance, but otherwise this was another great episode. I can’t believe next week is the finale.
"Hey big fella! You friend or foe?
. . . Oh. FOE AS FUCK!!!"
The last time we saw BH he was in pursuit of Niles but instead he got ambushed by “Dorothy’s” monster…so “Dorothy” must have led him to Danny?
I’m not a huge fan of the Mr Nobody plot–my favorite episodes have been the standalone weirdness ones, the Decreator two parter, the Underground episode and the intro to Danny episode–and the idea that Niles is the one behind the Patrol’s origins isn’t that big a revelation if you’re any kind of a comics reader, so this episode I thought was just okay. Ugh are they going to end this on a cliffhanger? I don’t need a cliffhanger to come back to watch more Cliff Steele, DC content people!
(I guess the next thing to watch on the DC channel is Swamp Thing? I only signed up for Young Justice, and then I got hooked on Doom Patrol.) (Apparently Swampy begins 5/31, so yes, that is the next thing to watch on DC streaming.)
Holy Kaiju Make Out, Batman!
That was an amazing finale.
spoiler:
DOOMSDAY COCKROACH!!!
eta: ADMIRAL WHISKERS!!!
end spoiler
Without getting specific since I just watched it and I might need some processing time: I can’t believe the degree to which they absolutely nailed this finale. Which is thankfully not a god damn cliffhanger!
(Was that a new personality that confronted Joshua–the one ranting about caged birdies? Did Pretty Polly finally take the wheel???)
Just wanted to add “I’m sorry, what part of ‘fuck you forever’ was in Hebrew” might be the greatest line in television history. Or, ummm, streaming video history.
