Isn’t this basically Arrested Development but without the quirky comedy and characters?
The DirecTV ABC Fall Season preview I watched yesterday said that Krause is the lawyer/everyman for this dispiscably rich family, who his father was also a lawyer for when he was a child. The show will also delve into his father’s mysterious death. The funeral figures into the plot of the first episode or two.
I’m willing to give it a chance on Krause alone, but Pushing Daisies and Private Practice look to be the more promising of the new drama series on ABC this fall.
It’s Peter Krause, who is better than you. I’ve been there since they announced it.
Plus it had Glenn Fitzgerald in it, who is always pretty great.
I believe in the premiere William Baldwin bangs a tranny. Which is a heckuva start.

The Priest is my favorite. Although I’m confused as to which Baldwin this is.

Oh yeah, this is great. A good mix of comedy and drama. Krause is solid, as usual.
That was surprisingly refreshing…like a Fresca! The priest was the best but I really liked everything. I hope this one doesn’t get canceled.
What a blast. This is the Krause I know and love, the semi-wacky Sports Night Krause, not the angsty (even though I like the show) Six Feet Under Krause.
How is Donald Sutherland? Having just watched M*A*S*H for the second time, I’m a born-again fan of his.
What a huge surprise. With the talent involved, maybe it shouldn’t have been.
I’m glad it premiered after Grey’s II or I likely wouldn’t have seen it.

I recently bought a micro SD card for my cellphone so I could have custom tones for all of the people in my address book. It really does come in handy!
Damn, this show was tons of fun. It lost about 4 million viewers from Private Practice though, so I hope ABC doesn’t consider it a dud.
Count me in for thoroughly enjoying this. Brian and Jeremy are my favorite Darlings, although I have a feeling as Patrick wades into his Senate run his storyline is going to get really funny.
Krause totally nailed this, and his contempt for the family really seethes in many of the scenes. I’m glad they decided that Sutherland should play the straight man to the rest of his family. He’s not quirky, he’s just trying to hold the family together.
