I’ll probably watch this.

Big sigh of relief. This was the one I was more worried about than anything, I’m a huge fan of the book. Now to sit back, and let this wash all over me. All up in me.

Actually, the piece of that review which sold me came shortly after that paragraph.

That single take shot from True Detective was one of my favorite pieces of television last year, so I’m hoping this is true. I’m also pleased to hear that they’ve come up with a reason as to why Hell’s Kitchen is plagued with crime, as I know a few articles have gone into depth about how that setting is a much different place nowadays.

Yeah apparently it’s the trendy, nice neighborhood these days which is funny.

Shameless has been showing us the evils of that particular social phenomenon this year.

WAIT WHAT? CREATIVE USAGE OF FILM FORM IN A MARVEL PRODUCT?!!

Huh, now I’m really interested in seeing what this ends up being.

I really hope that isnt hyperbole because that whole sequences was jaw dropping.

I am officially psyched for this now.

I’ve always really liked Daredevil, it was one of the comics I read consistently as a kid and I even liked the 2003 MSJ/Affleck version (directors cut especially). There is just something about the masochistic nature of Matt Murdock, bruised and broken but driven, that has always stuck out for me.

Its beyond that. Hell’s Kitchen sale prices average $3.5M, while rental prices for a two-bedroom apt. are in the $3,500/month range.

The entire borough of Manhattan has now become the unattainable.

AI’m kind of hoping that they work it in that the kingpin was behind some nefarious scheme to drive the old residents (ie Murdock’s people) out of the neighborhood after he’d bribed/blackmailed his way into all the contracts to gentrify the place.

It sure does look right pretty.

A$3,500 a month for an apartment?! Christ Almighty! I’ll never bitch about my rent in L.A. again.

…my rent’s still highway robbery.

Srsly. I own a 3-story brownstone in Brooklyn and $3,500/month is more than my damned mortgage.

AAnother glowing review:
