Ok, so who’s definitely playing tonight at 11 (or thereafter)?

I just wanna know what I should make the server limit..I was thinking 15 or 20.

I’m definitely in (been playing the solo mode for the last two hours in order to kick your asses properly ). I just need an explanation as how to join.

I would like to join in, but I’m not sure my router will allow me to – I’ve tried joining multi-player and I never get a server list, it may be the router’s firewall I’m behind and I still haven’t figured out how to get around it yet.

Poxy, I don’t remember where the options feature is, but what you need to do is make sure that your ability to download is set to YES. (Verbal should know where this is.)

If I recall, you have a LinkSys router (and you don’t have a static IP, yes?). Well, I recently got a Linky router myself and it fixed that issue when I enabled the download feature.

Ok, we’re playing Jedi Knight 2.

My IP address is 68.45.56.90.

The game name will be CHUD Jedi Knights.

The password will be “pants” (in lowercase, but I don’t think that matters).

The start time is 11pm EST, but obviously people can come anytime after.

I will have the game started anywhere between 10:50 and 11:00.

We are gonna be playing Duel with No Force allowed. Just straight skill.

Oops. Poxy, when I meant “options” I’m referring to the JK2’s game options – NOT your router.

I’m curious though as to what firewall you are running (the router is technically a firewall, but you could enhance the security features by adding software firewalls, such as "ZoneAlarm"Wink. In the case that you do use a firewall software, you should also try to temporarily disabling it.

Does anyone use Gamespy Arcade?
If so, maybe we can add each other to the PlayerSpy list thing.

I had it once, but usually I just enter servers through the game menu itself.

If you have it though guys, list your names anyway for future reference.

I was just about to check for a patch.

I may have dlded it, I can’t remember though.

And Bluntmatt, to join my server, on the server list screen there’s a “New Favorite” icon. Click that and you then have to enter the IP address. Should bring the server right up.

Actually, I set up my IP through the DMZ function on the router, and I seem to be good to go – I joined an internet game with no problems.

I will be there come 11:00.

Yeah, sure. After this game, we’ll discuss one for during the week.

And BTW people, there are some cool new multiplayer maps that came with the patch. One of them is the Bespin air tunnel (in the game, it was where you fought your first Reborn). Definitely very atmospheric, and there is a little bit of Han and Leia’s theme thrown in to the music for it. wink
