Symphony of the Night is a really good choice. It’s gathering dust on my 360 because I still haven’t completely figured out the item system. Rock-Solid gameplay though.
Unless the Supreme Court steals another election, it looks like this one’s about decided. I just ordered Wake, and it will take discipline to hold off until May.
Perhaps I’ll catch up with Symphony of the Night until then…
So, unless there’s any complaints, which there doesn’t seem to be:
May (starts 5/21): Alan Wake
June: Bayonetta
July: Alpha Protocol
Im also voting that there be a gap of a week between games just to give everyone a breather before we tackle each of the next, give people a chance to play catch up if theyre slow as well.
Same. Call it a failing of mine but that game, no matter how good the gameplay, just looks… bloody silly.
Oh, it IS bloody silly. It almost put me off the first time I played it, before the gameplay dug its hooks in (And it hooks them in HARD). It stays more camp than Day Three of the Glastonbury Festival, but there’s also some interesting postmodern portrayals of ancient christian iconography in there too, like the Archangels. Also, lots of references/tributes to classic Sega games. Trust me, it ain’t all camp.
I also thought the game was oddly, but effectively heartfelt when dealing with Cereza. That’s before you vertically ride a motorcycle up a guided missile intended to launch God into space, but still.
