I thought this thread was gonna be about a new 24 spinoff. I’m so disappointed.
You have to watch the whole skit to get a feeling for the parody. Yes yoda-speak has become a trite joke since episode 1 came out a few years ago. Chappelle’s skit embraced star wars lore and gave it a hilarious twist though.
Either way, he has done much better stuff than that, and I know i will be watching on Wednesday, and all you haters out there can watch your Frasier.

I was flipping through the channels last night and saw Chapelle on “You’ve Got Mail”…I wonder how he got that part.

The Yoda bit was a scream because they were doing a near word-for-word parody of Marion Barry’s videotaped drug bust.

Perhaps Queen Mushroom hates Chappelle’s Show because she doesn’t have great New York boobs.
I thought the black white supremist was one of the funniest, most subversive skits I’d seen on a comedy show in years. Can’t wait for the new season to start.

hahaha, i love when the announcer starts out by saying, “we all know cash rules everything around me, C.R.E.A.M, get the money, dollar dollar bills y’all.” CLASSIC.
I am so glad comedy central renewed this show. It is truly cutting edge humor. Also the fact that Dave and Neal basically write EVERYTHING on this sketch is mind boggling.
When Chapelle is humping his wife and shes laying there and pulls out the “Wrap it up!” box and he makes all these faces and noises I thought I was going to pass out. You can watch it on the comedy central site, too.
Chappelle’s Show is one of the funniest shows on TV, by far. When the new season drops, there is going to be a sketch where he plays Samuel L. Jackson dressed as the guy from the Samuel Adams beer commercials. Check it out on this site: Samuel Adams/Jackson skit This looks hilarious.

Chapelle is very smart, and he does a good job of being satirical without ever preaching etc.
