I don’t get it.

I haven’t seen it yet (crappy connection). I’ll give it a couple of chances, but my guess is it will be either very good or very bad.
It’s three guys from “The State”. For it to suck would go against all laws of logic and reason. Speaking of which, when is Paramount/MTV finally gonna release The State DVD compilation?
I thought it was pretty funny.
The rediculous way they lampoon traditional tv standards, like the bothersome cranky old landlord or the 3 girls who live in the same apartment building as the 3 guys, is pretty great.
I guess the added bonus that 90% of the episode was filmed on my street and in my building was pretty cool too.
If you ever watch one of their shorts, you have a pretty good idea what the show will be like.
Only…the show is like the stella shorts…on fucking speed. Its so over the top its funny. Just plain ridiculous. Edward Norton just randomly shows up as himself, lol.
It didn’t get funny until they all walked in with the fake moustaches. After that, pure gold.
I’ve been a huge Stella fan for a few years now. Their DVD of shorts gets lots of play in my DVD player. That being said, there is no way this could’ve gone wrong, it’s pitch perfect to me. Suits my sense of humor just perfectly.
first episode on the web has my hopes up very high. Finally some screentime for Mr. Wain.
I loved the state, I love Reno, but the first time I watched this I wasn’t as impressed as I had hoped. That said, now that it has sat with me and I find myself laughing when talking about it, I think we may have a gem on our hands.
I’m excited for it. The clip where he drives the truck over the cliff cracks me up just thinking about it.
I liked it. “Delightfully absurd” is the pull quote they could use from me for the show.
“I haven’t laughed this much since my last business transaction! DOOHHH!!”
Interesting. I’m all for randomness for the sake of humor, but this may be a bit much.

I really liked it. I’ve missed the shorts, so I’ll have to look them up. What really made me laugh was when they split the baked bean three ways…and then busted out a tray of expensive condiments.
Anyway, lots of funny stuff throughout, I thought.
I know this is the type of comment that will get me great parking at the Special Olympics, but I laughed harder at the “Andy Milonakis Show” than this. I’ll give it at least one more try, I remember it took a few episodes for me to see why “Reno 911” was funny.
Loved it. It’s definitely hit or miss on most of the jokes, but I like that. It was more hit than miss to me. A lot more inspired and original than most of the purposely odd comedy I’ve seen recently. I got a weird sort of Three Stooges/Marx Brothers vibe off of it too. Maybe that’s just me. Nice to see more former State members on TV.
I prefer my comedy to be more reality based.
It wasn’t “Laugh-Out-Loud” funny to me, actually I dodn’t think I actually laughed once…but I still found it very entertaining. It was very well done and everything fit nicely together. I give it a thubs up.
