Ha yeah, I thought the episode sounded lame but that preview cracked me up.
I wonder if they worked with the Greg the Bunny people.
Next week’s episode is either going to be really, really classic, or so sublimely awful it will need to be removed from our memories. I vote for the former. Puppet Angel to the rescue.
Tonight’s was okay. Would’ve loved to have seen more of the “Scourge of Siberia.”

I hope they worked w/ the Crank Yanker people. Special Ed and Angel would be a great combo.
Loved the Initiative and how they used Nazi scientists to their advantage. Nosferatu was a nice touch. Rasputin’s lover was an interesting vamp. Unfortunatly we can’t see him again.
And what’s up w/ Gunn losing his lawyer knowledge? Is Eve doing this?
I don’t know how they will be able to pull off Puppet Angel but the Puppet fighting w/ Spike was priceless.
The puppet ep is written by Ben Edlund, the comic genius who created The Tick and also wrote some damned funny bits on Firefly. It promises to be hilarious.
Tonight’s ep was above average for a standalone, though I’ll bet that Goddard enjoyed the film BELOW quite a bit. Nice stuff with Spike.

I didn’t know they could call someone a dick. Or say Christ. Cool. It was…weird. I think I liked it, but I have to think about it a little longer. HOWEVER. Next week’s has Angel as a puppet. I laughed so hard at Spike fighting him…oh, God.
They had talked about a puppet episode of Buffy for years, but the thing I had heard was that one week the show would be supermarionnette, with no explanation or reason.

But if Gunn loses his big brain he can’t be that evil. Looks like he’s gotta find a tune up on his brain. Of course he won’t tell anyoner like Lorne and his sleep and all will be bad. That be a way to get him more evil.
Puppet Angel made me forget all about G.I. Joe Angel. Looks fantastic.
For a filler episode, that was pretty damn good, although I’m pissed that Cordelia’s death didn’t even rate a mention. But the Initiative rocked, and I’d watch an entire series based around the Prince of Lies.

Well, this was more of a stand-alone episode. So it really could have fit before Cordy’s death. But I don’t really know.
I particularly liked how they just kept referring to him as Prince of Lies without blinking.

No, because they mention Lindsey and Eve in the boardroom. Continuity-wise, this happened after her death.

I guess they already resigned to Cordelia’s death while she was in a coma.
I’m not sure. But also, Cordy’s coming back was only for that episode. I just don’t know.
It wouldn’t have been that big a deal to have them coming from her grave at the beginning, or have their meeting establishing a Memorial Fund or something.
