It’ll be interesting to see how the blind guy will perform on the main show, if he makes it through. You know how they sometimes do those theme shows where the contestants have a big choreographed number that they all do together? How will he be able to participate in that?
Stevie Wright had some potential. The girl that Simon said she had to be “meaner”.
She’s not really much in terms of looks but her voice definitely had some pipes in them. I think we’ll see her in the Top 36.
I like how the Castro kid with the pink Flock of Seagulls haircut said his brother is the girly one. Also, what’s with that family at the terrible, terrible hair?
Mmmm, I really liked the brunette in the white/purple poofy dress. Yummy. And I though Anoop Dogg was great.
I did have a Naked Gun moment when I flashed on the Blind Guy falling into the orchestra pit during one of their weekly production numbers.
At least the Ford Focus commercials they force the kids to do would be more fun with the Blind Guy driving…

That weird-looking “Mudd” guy got screwed over royally by the producers and judges portraying him as some sort of psycho making threats against the judges. He said “Be careful” as he left and Simon and Paula acted as if issued some sort of death threat. Felt bad for the guy.
It looks like there was some real talent in Kentucky. That last girl who did an original song was great. I don’t like the fact that Kara immediately recognized a girl because of she had a previous record deal. After all the contestants with past record deals last year, do we really need another perceived “ringer?” But that girl was amazing and looks like an early favorite.

I really like the ringer, outside of that this season is forgettable so far (bikini girl aside).
I do dig Kara. She’s hot and I’m shocked at her age, thought she was younger then me.
SLC auditions were pretty good. But I’m already bored to tears with the audition episodes. Not a lot of really memorable singers. Of course, Cook and Archuleta didn’t make huge impressions on me in their auditions last year. Hollywood Meltdown Week couldn’t come soon enough. Time to see some people in tears when they screw up the group choreography on “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch.”
Not a lot of stand outs for me so far.
That said, Megan Corkery is insanely hot. Hope she makes it through.
What? There were a bunch of standouts to me (of course I don’t remember anyone’s names). I still love that theater rocker guy. The two friends (one who lost his wife) are great. The oil field guy. There are a few chicks who are amazing as well… Frankie, the 16 year old from Jacksonville, the chick who rapped during the group song. I can already see who makes the show.
Oh, I can see who will make the show alright. And I wasn’t implying that there wasn’t any talent. But I have yet to pick a favorite, which by this point I normally have.
I’ll go with Megan based on her uber-hotness and the great audition we saw a few weeks back. Hope they show her Hollywood stuff next week.
Can’t believe Bikini Girl is out. This was a sad day for American broadcasting!
