Looking forward to another season’s worth of quotes, one-liners and what not. In addition to what “big name celebrity guest stars” Fey & Co. get for year #4.
Variety has seen the first two episodes for anyone interested.

Don’t know if we could categorize him as one. No offense to him.
I didn’t think last season was as bad as some say, although it was certainly weaker than the previous two. But comparing it to Will & Grace? That’s harsh.
This might be fun:

And ludicrous.
Fuck this stupid 30 Rock backlash in the mouth.
I rest my case.

Lost me at Who’s the Boss. I think I recall this sort of backlash happening to Arrested Devolpment around the 3rd season as well.
The backlash and “decline” have less to do with 30 Rock not being the funniest show on TV anymore than people expecting it to be week in, week out. That I can’t distinguish between the seasons enough to tell which was the strongest (you could’ve told me “Il Generalissimo” was in the 2nd and I wouldn’t have known) just shows how consistently it’s always been, imo.

Yeah. That article loses all credibility by claiming that Will & Grace was ever funny.
I blame the google news culture. They will write about 30’ just to get hits.
ETA. One dimensional characters my ass.
“Josh quit!”
“Who?”
“Here’s Jay Leno.”
Absolutely brutal. And so true.
I love that this show is back!!!

Great line. The episode overall wasn’t great, or even average for them.
Jesus Christ, that Tracy montage on the street was fucking hysterical.
“Thanks, Meat-Cat!”
“Massage it, Kenneth…”
Loved Jenna’s country tennis music video. Reminded me that I should watch The Last Boy Scout again…
Maybe it’s just because I missed it so much, but I loved this episode. Liz and Pete’s complete inability to lie had me rolling.
