Despite the price, I will probably order this one. They are doing a good job at building up to the PPV as most of these feuds have been in the works for two months or more.

I forgot about this. The Rock’s return, as well as a couple of interpromotional matches, will make WMXX seem special. I wonder if the Rock will make a return before WMXX on Raw.
Eddie and Angle should put on the best match, but the triple threat match has a lot of potential with both Benoit and HBK. HHH sucks in matches against powerhouses like Kane, Nash or Steiner, but has been nothing short of brilliant with quicker, more athletic guys like HBK or Jericho. And I would bet a limb that Vince has one of the girls in the Evening Gown match recreate the Janet Jackson incident. On the one hand, Wrestlemania is the special event every year and is, therefore, treated with a little more respect. On the other, I don’t know if Vinnie Mac can pass up the mainstream press attention something like that has the potential to draw.
you know i really dont follow the WWE anymore…but I have been interested in seeing how foley’s return would be handled, and so far its been all over the place, but interesting. As far as WMXX, w/o even knowing the current stories I can say eddie vs. kurt should be classic, but I think the real gem that is always overlooked is anything to do with cruiserweights…a cruiserweight free for all sounds like money in the bank to me.
Back in the wcw days, their cruiserweight stuff was second to none even though it was put on at the worst time of the broadcast and just made fun of by the announcers. This free for all could be something special.
Is Kidman still a cruiserweight? I saw a picture of him (credited as “Torrie Wilson and husband”, nice) and he was looking bigger than I remember (steroid bloat?). He was my favorite back in the WCW days.

When they brought him back from his injury they teased a cruiserweight storyline with Rey Mysterio and Tajiri by showing Kidman in the crowd, dressed up Ric Flair-style, with two ladies by his side during a Mysterio-Tajiri match. That pretty much went nowhere and they haven’t pushed him as a cruiserweight beyond the odd match here or there. Paul London and Spanky were teaming up for a short time and really getting over with the crowd. Now that Spanky is gone from WWE, Kidman has bean teaming with Paul London. So, to answer your question, who knows?
I think Lesnar is going to beat Goldberg…but with Austin’s help.
Now you might be thinking, why would Austin help Lesnar? Well I think Billy boy’s gonna hit the spear, and celebrate, and walk into a stunner. On Raw they will ask why he stunned Goldberg. Austin will say that they have been compared for years. Who’s better? Austin or Goldberg? Because of his injury they could never find out. So he watched Goldberg go out there night after night and steal his glory. But now, even though they never wrestled, Austin finally wins and he has chased Goldberg out the WWE.
That’s just a theory.
You know for such a major event, everything except this, the cruiserweight title match and the two title matches, this seems incredibly lackluster.
I personally would have started up more cross promotional feuds.
Give the cruiserweights more to do than be battle royal fodder (but at least Ultimo Dragon is gonna work a WM).
LOL The reason HHH is so good in matches with HBK,Benoit, Jericho, etc…look at those opponents. They CARRY him through his matches. He doesn’t do shit. If he doesn’t hand over the strap to benoit then that will prove what a selfish windbag he is.

I think HHH is almost a lock to retain, and that’s a shame because it’s just not right for the Heel to continually walk out of Wrestlemania year after year after year. RAW needs more major heels who have charisma/are good on the stick in a bad way.
That aside. i think the Booker T/RVD tag team match, Guerrero vs. Benoit, OLD Undertaker vs. Kane, Christian vs. Jericho and the Cruiserweight invitational will make this worth ordering. Don’t care about any of the other matches, Lesnar/Austin/Goldberg included.
